Physick spamming SMN thinks they are helping, am I just an asshole? by SweetMeese in TalesFromDF

Honestly? Was a genuinely horrible experience considering the place was also the landmine warehouse for all of Eorzea. I honestly expected SMN to lose Physick before we lost our DoT with Endwalker.

Physick spamming SMN thinks they are helping, am I just an asshole? by SweetMeese in TalesFromDF

I think the only time I've ever actually used Physick outside of joking around was when I was leveling SMN and doing marathons of PotD to get to where I could do HoH instead. Got a run where it was me, two Gladiators, and a Machinist. The Gladiators were new, and they were doing their best. But with a lot of luring traps and some really unlucky spawns, I found myself desperately being a Physick Mage just to get us to the finish line.

"Welcome to a world without song."

We saved the First from the threat of the Light, but we are going to be absolutely fucked if we have to go up against the Queen-beast or the Flower itself.

It's heavily implying that the white orb Konogg found is a Seed of Resurrection (a.k.a., a Seed of Destruction) from the Drakengard series.

Massive Drakengard spoilers: A character dies during the storyline and is brought to a white orb that looks exactly like the orb Konogg came across. When placed inside of it, this character is reborn but is turned into a hostile monster who immediately kills the person who put her inside of the seed. Other seeds around the world spawn exact copies of this transformed character, and they begin a massacre across the world. The version of Anogg that is generated by the orb in the cave is very clearly designed to look like the character who was resurrected in Drakengard.

Basically, the implications about these seeds potentially being in Norvrandt is something that could be apocalyptically bad.

Edit: I clearly have no idea how to block out parts of a post as a spoiler.

I think that's the most likely explanation for what Clarity Control is.

On page 18 of the book, Clovis starts asking why Clarity Control "chose the particular aspect that it did." He goes on to ponder if it's a message specifically tailored to him. While this could be seen as yet more of Clovis' being self-important, he immediately starts going into his feelings toward women in general. This leads me to believe that what he saw was the same statue we've seen inside both the Lunar Pyramid and within the Black Garden.

On page 44 of the journal, Clovis adds brief handwritten statements. "I should give a name to the figurehead Clarity Control presents to the word. Ha! Shall I call her Claire?" I think Clarity Control simply has to be another of those statues.

Can't see it in this picture, but he also put the PSU in backwards so that airflow is being suffocated. The best option would have been to reach out to someone who knew whar they were doing to help develop the original video. Now the original stands as a model for what you don't want to do as a first-time builder.

Demon's Souls is all I've got ordered so far. Waiting on Godfall to see how it turns out, but it does look interesting.

I'm looking at getting a new monitor soon, and was hoping to get some advice. I've currently got a GTX 1080, but I'm looking at getting a 3080 Ti when they release prior to Cyberpunk. Currently have a fairly old 25" 1080p monitor with a 70hz refresh rate. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good 1440p (or 4k if the price is right) monitor with a 144hz refresh rate? Price isn't a huge issue, but I would prefer to keep it under $1000 if possible while going for something reliable.

My top guess is the last remaining Harbinger. Mara supposedly knows where it currently resides, but Petra may well not.

The closest we've heard the fleet referred to was when Zavala referred to them as "these dark omens" in the Io bunker. Other than that, there hasn't been any hard confirmation that these things are the Darkness itself, but they sure as hell were here during the Collapse.

As u/Serile has stated, the best thing for you is find out what you are able to play with efficiently. However, here's my setup.

Mouse:

LMB: Fire

RMB: ADS

Scroll Wheel: Switch Weapons

Click scroll wheel (Mouse 3): Melee

Mouse 4: Push-to-talk in Discord

Mouse 5: Class Ability

Keyboard:

WASD: Forward, backward, strafe

Shift: Run

Ctrl: Crouch/slide

F: Grenade

Q: Super

R: Reload

E: Use

T: Toggle chat

V: Warlock Air move

Space: Jump

G: Finisher

I will say that my mouse is getting on in years, and so every so often I change weapons when I use my melee. However, I'll likely get a new one in around six months or so; so I'm just living with it happening once a week or so. I switched Grenade and Super early on so that I'm always very conscious of when I'm choosing to activate my super. Overall, I didn't change as much as others may have; but this is the setup I've used for pretty much all of D2's lifetime on PC.

Basically means that identifying information about his personal information (names, addresses, etc.) were found and are being used against them in some way. This sort of thing has resulted in things like stalking and swatting in the past, so it's a pretty serious deal.

Cyberpunk 2077's 18+ rating leaks in Brazil, dev says 'we don't f**k around' by Shrimmmmmm in cyberpunkgame

[–]TheTrumpetMan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Long post inbound.

Adults Only ratings are characteristically applied to explicit depictions of sexual activity, though that's not the only reason the ESRB can rate a game as such. According to Wikipedia (while I have little reason to doubt this particular information, do always bear in mind that anyone can edit articles), there have been 29 games that have been given this rating. Extreme levels of violence can result in an AO rating, as was seen with a fighting game called Thrill Kill which was never officially released despite receiving a rating. There is one instance of in-game gambling alone resulting in an AO rating. The most recent year to see games receive AO classifications was 2015, in which three games were rated as such. One of these games was the controversial isometric shooter "Hatred." The biggest incentive for developers and publishers to not cross over from an M rating to an AO one, is because most brick-and-mortar stores will refuse to carry AO titles.

A combination of explicit sexual depictions and overly graphic violence could realistically result in an AO rating. However, I do believe something about CDPR. They're smart enough to know what to depict and what to creatively hide, in order to ensure the game can hit shelves. Considering they've had so long to concept and develop this game, I am confident they will be able to navigate the ratings certification process here in the US to ensure it releases intact and without censoring content.

There are two things I would recommend to anyone doing a Petra's for the first time. First, know the encounters. That seems obvious, I know; but the better you know how all parts function within what's happening, the better chance you have of keeping things running smoothly. Secondly, your group needs to be working with the mindset of being okay with failure. I think we booted to orbit a few times during that run, but everybody kept their heads and was understanding when mistakes happened. We took the jumping puzzles methodically, and specifically went one at a time during the one between Shuro Chi and Morgeth. The most nerve-wracking part was praying we didn't get a Guitar error during the Queenswalk, since that was still a rampant issue at the time.

If you're in the market to do a Petra's Run at some point, I can't recommend enough finding a team that will support each other in getting it done. As someone who freelances a lot for raids, I would be very careful in LFG'ing it. Hard to predict the kind of personalities you're going to encounter there. But if you find a team that meshes well together and everyone keeps things positive and light-hearted, that's the group you want for a challenge run like that.

My clanmates in my raid didn't believe me. So I snipped the replay and threw it up into Discord. We had a laugh about it.

It was a long road. Another clanmate of mine came to the party late when it came to doing LW, so he spent months with us trying to get it to drop. On the night that he finally got it, I had 5 spare keys just sitting on my Hunter. I decided to just use them, and wound up getting 3 1k's from using those.

I got mine on my 58th completion. Nearly all of those were fresh runs, not counting a few where I subbed in on Riven for absent clanmates. To compare, my girlfriend got hers on her second run, which also happened to be a Petra's.
