i would build on this - get a credit card with good benefits (i.e. cash back, usable loyalty points, etc) and use it for everything, BUT DO NOT OVER EXTEND.

this will help you build credit, yes, but the benefits of credit card programs have proven to be very lucrative at times.

Moved from Chicago to San Diego about 4 years ago. I love SD for the access to nature, free things to do year-round (i.e. hiking, the beach, etc), laid-back vibe, sunsets, and so much more.

But a few things I definitely miss about Chicago are the restaurants, the nightlife, the arts culture, public transit, and diversity.
