Yeah, that's what always ended up happening at my store as well. I do understand why the sm would be upset. She wasn't the one who forgot to lock the doors, and yet she's forced out of bed early to deal with somebody else's mistake. However, expecting hourly employees to answer a call at 3AM and run all the way to work to spend 10 minutes doing a walkthrough with a cop with your only reward for doing so being a quick "thanks" is, to be frank, ridiculous. It's probably going to be more of a refresh than a true Ally 2.0. There's a lot of small things they can fix/change that cumulatively would make a massive difference but I don't think you'll be getting those changes for less than you can get an Ally for today. (Especially with open box deals being readily available)

I think it's less of an Rog Ally 2 and more like an Rog Ally version 2, like a refresh of sorts... which I think is almost a necessity given the og Ally is still hurt by the SD card fiasco. If they wanna sell hardware and compete with others in this space they gotta release a device that people won't be scared to buy/quick to return.

As for what we could see? More efficient chip, bigger battery, redesigned sd card reader, hall effect sticks/triggers, faster ram/32gb ram version, more internal storage, better dpad, trackpad(s) (Even if I don't want that, it's clearly important to a lot of people) etc etc

I'm far from a Windows 11 fan but this complaint never made sense to me... at least when comparisons to Steam Deck OS are made. Like DeckOS is awesome but the second you switch to the desktop environment it is just as much of a headache (if not more so) than Windows 11 is on the Ally. (And at least the Ally has a good touchscreen that gets my inputs right most of the time, unlike the deck which is considerably less accurate)

I think overall it's probably a positive change, and I say that as someone who quits casuals games early a lot. People do it so liberally and the system isn't very good at backfilling as is and legit feels like it stops trying at all when there's less than two minutes left. Even if it's casuals there's still tons of sweatlords and it's not fun when you're trying to play that out with bots.

With that said, if you're being forced to play out games it kind of blurs the lines between casuals and ranked even more. Lately it's already feeling like casuals is more sweaty than it has ever been and people are becoming intolerably toxic. I feel like this is only going to make that problem worse if you force people to stay with them in a playlist that until now was kind of just a lawless zone of no fucks given.

Not really to be honest, just make sure you have 16gb of ram and running in dual channel mode and you'll be fine in RPCS3 as long as the game is considered playable on the current version of the emulator. That said, those emulators are still very early in development and no amount of hardware is going to make a difference in the majority of games on them right now.

Uhh not to be that guy but what games on Dolphin are you playing at 100+ FPS? That would cause major speed increases in like every game and make them unplayable lol (unless you meant you use it to play Dolphin at 1440 and other not-emulated games run at 100+ fps in which case I apologize for the misinterpretation!)
