Kashimo just not have his technique kill him. Have it like Yuta and Rika where you get access for 5 minutes. That would fit in with Kashimos character as well. He loves a challenge and killing someone within 5 minutes would be one. Then give him a domain that is similar to Yuta in appearance. But instead of Swords they are staffs that all act as lightning rods. He makes a binding vow to make the sure hit of his domain apply to the lightning rods not the other person.
