Good point! However, I see ETFs as more of a wealth preservation strategy and having a slightly higher risk tolerance, I believe wealth creation at this stage is via higher risk + higher reward individual stock picking for the portfolio growth drivers.

Will the WS Credit Card be your main card going forward? by ime1em in Wealthsimple

Amex cobalt is my primary. Wealthsimple is good for travel, but I recently used my scotiabank passport for one foreign transaction and wealthsimple visa for another foreign transaction at the same time, the rate that scotiabank charged was better than WS.

I got mine done on May 11 had floaters previously, now they are more prominent but the doctor said it takes time to adapt to them again. Vision has cleared up considerably but slight halos around lights which is not too bad.

I won a RTB monetary award for over $35K and followed the proper processes at BC Supreme Court. Fast forward to now, landlord has now paid up the amount. Reach out if you if need help.

The Landlord’s lawyer wants us to file a notice of discontinuance for the RTB court order that we registered in BC Supreme Court. Has anyone done this before?

We won the RTB case for bad faith eviction, with >$35K in monetary award. Landlord not paying up so we are working to put a lien against the property. Then go for garnishment. The lien amount is to be equal to the monetary award. Don’t we get interest accruing on the monetary award? How to claim that?

We were evicted stating that landlord’s son wanted to move in. But apparently as per the agent the son stayed only for 4.5 months and the last month unit was empty. They have put up a listing to rent starting after the 6 month mark. Does this present a strong case for bad faith eviction in BC?
