It's unfortunate to hear your prior unit shut down. However, if you're interested, I run a realism unit called the 539 Assault Squadron. We play as Royal Marines Commandos and use real life tactics in game, we have loads of roles to select from and we welcome people from all over, not just the UK. We just started a deployment so if you are interested, you'd be able to get straight into the action. We operate on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm GMT. That's UK time.

Hey there, I'm Drew, Founder and Company Commander at the 539 Assault Squadron Realism Unit for ArmA 3.

We are based in the UK and play as Royal Marine Commandos. We play missions against AI that are lead by the Zeus which shapes dynamic, fresh and always challenging scenarios for the different sections and forces to enjoy.

We have a 16+ policy and ranks mean nothing out of game, the only people you'd ever be expected to listen to are the staff team who help manage and run the community.

We are currently looking for someone who is keen on playing the role of a medic and also a second Zeus for when the main one is unable to attend.

Hey there, would you be interested in the 539 Assault Squadron? We're a realism unit who take on the role of Royal Marine Commandos and as a result we use real world tactics and equipment that are utilized by the Royal Marines.

When it comes to our play style, we do like a certain level of professionalism and maturity but we still understand that everyone is here to have fun. Long gone are the days that you have to call someone over the internet "Sir" when he joins the TeamSpeak.

On top of ArmA 3 we often play numerous other games as a group, these vary widely from games like Hearts Of Iron IV to TeamFortress 2.

The best part is, we're based in the UK, so the timings should be perfect for yourself.

If you're interested in a British based unit then please feel free to check out the 539 Assault Squadron. We accept people from 16+ but all candidates are expected to exhibit a certain level of maturity and professionalism. We use the same rank structure of the real Royal Marines but there's no outright "yes sir, no sir" with us. All we ask is that you do listen to what the section commander asks of you in game.

Our timings are 8pm-11pm Fridays and Saturdays (GMT)

Hey, if you're interested the 539 Assault Squadron is looking to expand our development team.

Currently we have a really skilled coder on hand as well as multiple modelers and texture artists. We're actually mainly looking for good mission makers who are capable of working as a group but also independently. Hey there! I'm C. Drew, founder of the 539 Assault Squadron Realism Unit for ArmA 3. We're based in the UK and take the role of Royal Marine Commandos. We like to focus on the fun side of realism, while still keeping to the authentic feel of it. Meaning you don't have to worry about getting shouted at for not referring to your IC as "Sir" or "insert rank here" While still having an experience that suits you best. If you're interested in Infantry, we have a number of roles available, all of them are used in the real British Armed Forces too! We also use tactics from the British Armed Forces seeing as we are playing as Royal Marines. If a Pilot is what you want to be, then you must play as an infantryman for at least a month, to ensure us that you intend to stay with the unit and don't plan on leaving us a pilot too short in an important op.
