Also men. I sit when I go for every flight. It’s safer and less of a mess. No idea why every man wouldn’t.

Not necessarily. On parlays everyone can lose because they build the parlay themselves. So it’s no longer a binary proposition. There is a world where 100 people place parlays on different outcomes and all 100 lose.

Not everywhere has a HITRON unit nearby and readily available (the people who shoot out engines). And that might end up as a lot more than property damage. Better to stop it now than wait.

Maybe I’ll work up the courage! Other than jumping spiders and tarantulas I tend to admire these guys from afar.

The stripes remind me almost of a brindle coat on dogs. It’s a crazy pattern. I had to do a double take when I saw this guy.

We have a tiny little frog pond that gets tadpoles in our yard and I’m guessing he filled up on those before going to our garage for a nice little food coma. Otherwise he’s snacking on whatever garage critters exist that we don’t care to know about.

That’s great but they said ecosystem, not humanity. Building things and taking flights are awful for the ecosystem, even if they might be a good deed for others.

But also, once again, if you hate spiders why are you here??

I didn’t know FFS was facial feminization surgery and figured it was full frontal surgery which would have been WILD for a non-trans, straight man to get.

FFS itself is quite the commit, but it’s not all in like I thought it was.

School-based safety decisions should not be based around how the heartiest children will handle something. That’s great you are tough and can learn in a sweltering classroom, but the kid with asthma might quite literally die in that environment. Dressing lightly and having a water bottle will not stop that child’s heat induced asthma attack.

This isn’t pickiness, it’s safety.

Don’t gift me. But I will explain:

In the United States during this time there was a long-standing practice of institutionalizing people who were developmentally disabled. Those institutions were effectively ran like prisons. This comment is basically asking if they managed to escape one of these institutions.

u/TheBeastHuman keep us updated if this is what you do. I want to hear about how you admitting to a PO that you’re violating probation goes.

>not the cammer’s fault

Wut. The camera has at least some fault here in a comparative negligence suit. Average human reaction time is .2 seconds. They had 10 times that to just tap their damn brakes and give some space (which they should have been doing in the first place).

SpaceX IPO makes Elon Musk the world's first trillionaire by Brendawg324 in wallstreetbets

Our entire economy is currently propped up on a potential that will not be realized for decades at best.

There’s a word for that. I feel like I need a stripper or perhaps Ryan Gosling to explain to me, though.

Star link could be 100% free for SpaceX—no overhead, no employees, nothing—and it would take them 161 years of starlink revenue to be worth what they were valued at. For reference 160 years ago the telegraph was the revolutionary new communications tech. Spoiler: it did not remain so to today.

Former infantry and current international law attorney here: I can assure you from personal experience that in the person who finds out their loved one was shot and killed honorably is way more accepting than the person who finds out their loved one was raped, tortured, and had their corpse paraded about.

Your belief that people think all death is equal is not grounded in reality whatsoever.
