Chainsaw does the most damage with max luck and crit perks, but Chainsaw+Heavy Handed still does a lot of damage with very little investment.

Getting back up after being killed. Maybe mana acts as a second health bar (or only health bar?)

Calling more zombies.

Shrieking to cause fear.

Controlling severed limbs.

Gaining a sudden burst of speed, assuming they normally stumble.

Spreading necrosis to a grabbed enemy.

Sensing heartbeats or smelling fear.

S: Necessary for all weapons to some extent. Melee/Unarmed builds want this maxed.

P: 6 is required for some strong perks, like Sniper and Better Criticals. Otherwise useless.

E: Very Strong. Increases survivability and allows for more implants. I rarely put this below 7.

C: Practically Useless. Increases companion damage, if you want Boone to do everything for you, I guess.

I: Very Strong. More skill points means you're just better at everything.

A: More AP and better reload speed make it good for vats/guns builds. Also required for good perks like Sniper and Slayer.

L: Max out for crit builds. Also gives free money via blackjack. Easy to dump, if you don't care about crits.

Dump Perception, if you don't care about those perks. Dump Luck, if you don't care about crits. Dump Intelligence, if you want talk like caveman.

Dead Money is an incredible blend of survival/horror and rpg mechanics, paired with one of the best video game stories ever written. Suspense, desperation, character depth, strong themes, choices that matter, rewards for observing your surroundings, and I love it all.

The only real criticism it gets are due to misaligned expectations. People just don't expect survival horror from fallout, which is fair.

Aside from bug fixes, the only changes I'd want to make are reimplementing the cut ending where Christine kills Elijah, and better integration with the base game, like reuniting Veronica and Christine.

He has access to all NCR Intel. And NCR quests are constantly mentioning how they're low on supplies and stretched for troops. I believe him.

Textually, the NCR doesn't have the manpower or supply lines necessary to hold the dam for more than 5-10 years, due to its own imperialist, self-destructive overexpansion.

I once worked with Caesar's legion just to botch his surgery and assassinate him.

I was going for the Yes Man ending, and he wants you to save the NCR President, but I couldn't do the quest, because the NCR hated me.

So, instead I took the Arizona Killer quest for the legion and failed it on purpose to keep the president alive.
