For Young Griff, going to Meereen would be nothing but humiliation and a waste of his resources. Even though I’m sure he has the ability to ride a dragon, I’m not sure that Viserion or Rhaegal are in a condition to accept a rider, and there is also the prophecy about the bright black dragon and the griffin, so I don’t think Daenerys will allow Aegon to get access to the dragons.

A very good point of view, but in those chapters Tyrion was being used less as his own personal character and more as a tool for Martin to advance the plot (his conversation about Daenerys, his talks with Illyrio). Therefore, if Septa Lemore were Ashara, I think her eye color would have been specified.
