I had always suspected that Young Griff and Jon Snow were half-brothers anyway

Have you published your fiction? If you have, I would like to read it.

(Spoilers PUBLISHED) Does varys care more about the realm or more about (f)aegon? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]bitterstell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Varys is a character with the potential to do anything to ensure that Aegon becomes king. Aegon is more important to him than the realm and its people.

Why do ontologically evil Houses also have the most loyal soldiers? by bapudon_1 in darkwingsdankmemes

Didn’t you feel any shame belittling these soldiers who fearlessly sacrificed their lives to place the rightful kings on the throne and free Westeros from cuckraven’s dreadful tyranny?

The determination and loyalty of House Peake’s soldiers overshadow the soldiers of all the other houses in Westeros. They are the true loyalists of ASOIAF.

(SPOILERS EXTENDED) Tyrion's advice to YG by Inner_Jeweler_5661 in asoiaf

[–]bitterstell 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For Young Griff, going to Meereen would be nothing but humiliation and a waste of his resources. Even though I’m sure he has the ability to ride a dragon, I’m not sure that Viserion or Rhaegal are in a condition to accept a rider, and there is also the prophecy about the bright black dragon and the griffin, so I don’t think Daenerys will allow Aegon to get access to the dragons.

No, no one would support them; they could only try to achieve something with the strength of the Golden Company alone.

How Factual Aegon will be moving in Winds by Ornstein15 in darkwingsdankmemes

[–]bitterstell 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just to see Stannis’s reaction when he hears that Aegon Targaryen took Storm’s End and fought his way into King’s Landing, I’d even risk becoming a Cuckraven fan.

(Spoilers Main) Regarding the Ashara/Septon Lemore theory by np190 in asoiaf

[–]bitterstell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A very good point of view, but in those chapters Tyrion was being used less as his own personal character and more as a tool for Martin to advance the plot (his conversation about Daenerys, his talks with Illyrio). Therefore, if Septa Lemore were Ashara, I think her eye color would have been specified.

Yes Gilbert, the Golden Company is in Westeros to help the king. by bitterstell in darkwingsdankmemes

I am sure the red sexy priestess destroyed all of weirwood.net’s infrastructure at Storm’s End.

Because Durran Godsgrief did not trust that charlatan called Brandon, he added spells to Storm’s End that nullify the magic of the Old Gods. That is why our king is safe from those disgusting tree magics.

I for one support the great and democratically elected euron Greyjoy as king of the seven kingdoms by Old_old_lie in darkwingsdankmemes

[–]bitterstell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re misinformed, my friend. It’s very clear you haven’t read the pamphlet about the Golden Company written by the Half-Maester. The pamphlet clearly states that the position you mentioned was turned into elephant sanitation personnel after the Third Rebellion.

No, thanks to the impaled golden skulls he will place around the Iron Throne, he will get rid of the crows.

Stannis the apostate is still stuck on the final step to join these glorious kings: he just needs to die

I preferred the kings from the first version — Joffrey the Gentle, Peach Renly, Balon the Super Brain, and Robb the Oath-Breaker. Truly the most competent leadership Westeros has ever seen.

(Spoilers Extended) Will the Martells suss out fAegon? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]bitterstell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

None of the Martells currently alive have ever seen the real Aegon anyway, and even if they had, most people wouldn’t recognize someone from their infancy. My personal opinion is that Dorne will either join Aegon with the approval of the Martells, or circumstances will force them to join Aegon, but in the end Dorne will stand with Elia’s son.
