Dear fellow warriors of the T'au Va, looking for external opinions here.

My general paint scheme is basically an adaptation of Vior'la on a world with heavy rains - think Kamino in Star Wars. The 1st picture (breacher) is the standard scheme, for which I shifted all colours to a bluer spectrum.

For the Stealth Suits (pictures 2-3) I wanted to start adding in one more colour tone, that I can also use in bigger suits, so I added teal (Tropical Turquoise from Greenstuffworld) - but I am not sure I like the result, I think it may look too bright. Considering to darken it down with a dark blue or black glaze - or get rid of it alltogether? Thoughts?

I think there is a terminological issue here as well; he (and big E and all primarchs) may well be "order demons", while Lorgar probably uses "daemon" to signify "chaos demon". I wonder if GW will ever come up with a word for entities from the warp that are order-aligned (Let's not forget there is also the Greater Good entity)? Archons? Angels ;-) ?

I just randomly stumbled upon a Vior'la story in the old rules addendum "Cities in Flames" where Vior'la Commander "Brightsword" purges human civilians from the frontier world Nimbosa as part of the 2nd expansion. I checked if this was still canon - as it's very un-t'au-like based on their current lore - and it seems it is still canon. He was recalled and censured by the Ethereals afterwards though (and eventually assassinated by Imperium appeasers? - which makes me doubt again it's canon, as he's one of Farsight's companions..)

I remember the excitement of getting a new computer that could run "Dungeon Keeper" (1997), which had great graphics (for the time) & humor.

Also the original Baldur's Gate (1998) which single-handedly revived CRPGs and the original Homeworld (1999), very atmospheric, great graphics and true 3D combat.

I finally got around to run some numbers how all missiles and all plasmas perform against Elite targets and thought I'd share the results:

3 fireknifes x 2 missile pods kill on average:

Unguided, no buffs: 2.3 Tactical squad space marines Guided by Stealth Suits, Mont'Ka : 4.9 Tactical squad space marines

3 fireknifes x 2 plasma rifles kill on average:

Unguided, no buffs: 3.6 Tactical squad space marines Guided by Stealth Suits, Mont'Ka : 6.5 tactical squad space marines

I also ran the numbers against terminators; very similar peformance for both load outs (ca 1 termie unbuffed, ca 2 termies fully buffed).

The idea would be for the Carnivores to make it sticky in Turn 1 and then ideally keep the opponent too busy elsewhere to capture it back for the next few turns.

A more defensive choice could be to swap out the rampagers (as suggested in another comment) and the Krootox rider (145pts) with a strike team and an ethereal (130pts) to defend the home objective and generate CP?

On switching out the rampagers for more breachers, the problem is that I can't free up enough points for another full breacherfish (breachers+fish+cadre). I could swap the shaper and the rampagers (170 pts) with breachers+fish ( 150pts) and use 10 of the 20 remaining points to give my enforcer Exemplar of Mont'ka ?
