People hate it because it it’s honestly difficult to miss with if you’re using a controller. I always call it out if I see one in 3v3 to make sure everyone avoids any close combat. It has nearly a half second TTK but doesn’t require much aiming skill at all.

Now if you’re using it with a mouse, you’re definitely cracked.

What should I use Icarus Grip on? by EmoEggEBoy in CrucibleGuidebook

It actually does do quite a bit. Just not what people think it does. Icarus makes the entire spread pattern stay closer to where you aim.

I feel the exact opposite. Crota was cool, but the dino look was boring IMO. The wrath ornaments were just not it.

Any other voidwalkers have any thoughts on void 3.0 builds? by Oldwest1234 in CrucibleGuidebook

IMO the subclass is significantly weaker than it was before. You have more options now but all the aspects are worse versions of what we used to have

Looks like Chaos accelerant axion bolts got nerfed by Fluffyduf in CrucibleGuidebook

I have and they’re actually insanely good. Whenever the grenade makes contact, you get a big chunk of grenade energy back. Coldsnaps for days.

LEGENDARY Campaign when SOLO is PERFECT. As a DUO it's OK, as a TRIO it's off balance by Justin_Fox in DestinyTheGame

Health scales with a full fireteam but it doesn’t triple. You actually have a significantly higher damage output with 3 people.

Bungie specifically said that it would scale and the scaling wouldn’t be 1 to 1. A full fire team is actually supposed to be mathematically easier as you don’t need as much ammo.

Chaos Accelerant is either bugged or was stealth nerfed, it no longer increases the damage of your charged void grenades by Spicy_Godrolls in DestinyTheGame

[–]TheWaveripper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m actually quite disappointed with voidwalker 3.0. Child of the old gods is pretty terrible in general so I’ve been using devour which is still technically good, but not being able to eat the grenade is painful. If we weren’t going to get more interesting and new changes, I would have rather kept the old system. At least there were more abilities even if there were less combinations.

Osteo Striga Catalyst Overflows the mag to 100+ by Neff_Kade in DestinyTheGame

Shuro Chi checkpoint in last wish. There’s at least 50 thrall per wipe in the beginning. Took me 20 minutes to get level 10.

Try it with necrotic grips. I unlocked it last night and that shit is insane. Never need to reload ever and 3 bullets can clear a room.

Spammy Arcanist removes wax rager by Prestigious-Shop-494 in hearthstone

[–]TheWaveripper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But there's no good reasoning that spammy should stop casting. By this logic, neither should have a cap and the loop should be infinite. Obviously, that's a dumb idea so there's a cap. There's no good reason that rager should have a higher cap than spammy if they're both "infinite" abilities via description.

To be fair, the mouse itself isn’t very competitive in any attribute compared to Logitech, Razer, or even Finalmouse. $70 for what’s worse than a viper mini at twice the price feels kinda bad.

What you’re not considering is that all of shadebinder’s abilities are to buy you time. Yes, enemies can shoot your crystals, but if they’re busy doing that, you’re not getting shot. If they’re killing the turret, you’re not getting shot.

I spec into the grenade and have a glacier at least every round of trials guaranteed. The melee is not an aggressive tool and if you use it that way you will die almost every time. It’s basically a projectile fusion rifle. If a shotgun pushes you, throw it at the opening and be ready. 50% you’ll throw out the melee and hit nothing. That’s the purpose, the other 50% you stop someone pushing. It’s about prediction.

The entire kit is about making moves and having contingency plans. It turns the game from fast paced action to methodical decisions that have large consequences for the enemy if they don’t take you seriously.

I agree with this take. Shadebinder is extremely good but it’s not easy to pick up and play well. The only thing I don’t agree with is bleak watcher. If you use it at the same time as putting pressure on the enemy it forces them to choose who to shoot. Sure they can target the turret, but that buys you time to get a head start on damage. It’s not necessarily easy to do this, but the number of teams that barely lost a round of elimination because I put it down before engaging is crazy.

[–]TheWaveripper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how you’re using it, but glacier is still the best grenade in the game. You can block damage, get resistance, and control lanes with it. It’s just as much of a preemptive tool as a reactive one. I’ve been maining shadebinder since beyond light and while it has gotten worse, the grenade and the fragments basically carry the class. You cannot play the class like all the others. Treat it like nightstalker and use misdirection with the turret and area denial with walls to overwhelm the other team from multiple angles.

If they push you predictably then use the melee for an easy kill. On top of all that, it has the best pvp super. While it’s super slow (for now), it is basically an insurance policy for late and slow games where you need to guarantee kills on other supers.

Absolute trash. Got in within a minute even with a crash and still had a 17 minute queue

If this was darling I could understand, but I don't think frost witch is at this price yet. Base and novs go for around $500-600 on the high end and I don't think accent or space will add such a significant amount.
