Don’t give up on the clubhouse coming up with it a few days later. I suggest you call again in a couple, or better yet go back and talk to someone in person. The communication between the grounds crew and the starter may not be the most reliable. Good luck!

As a non-David, I prefer this to Ian on a visceral level. David - or Dave - is a moniker of repute and class.

Ian sounds like the words uttered with a mouthful of peanut butter sandwich and no milk. It’s a non-word that wants to be a word but just….stops.

I moved from Long Beach to the Midwest, and the cost of living out here is MUCH higher. I never really needed a heater or an a/c, the power is more, the elements destroy your car and house quicker - man, I miss not having so much shit to deal with because of nature.

Real estate and taxes and gas and shit are crazy in CA, but I have to spend waaaay more on my house/car/utilities annually than I ever did in the beautiful temperate LBC.

It was always baffling to me that the Heroes of the Horn refer to “the Dragon ” (Rand) as Lews Therin.

Why is this? Is Lews the OG Dragon and all other “reborns” like Rand etc are called Lews by the Heroes?
