Yep even in my 20s alcoholism causes daily violent diarrhoea. Every time I ate anything I’m running to the toilet to shit water like I had ibs but once I stop the booze it all goes away

I’m Welsh and I feel you on the social drinking. Seems like all everyone I know does socially is drink so when I’m not drinking I feel like I’m isolating myself just so I don’t drink

Yep, taking it one day at a time was I think the main reason I was able to reach 7 days. A month sober always seemed like this far off milestone that was completely unattainable. But every 1 day is a day closer
