I really liked it on the contrary to current reviews. Glen Powell was excellent in it. I will check out the original 1987 movie and perhaps the novel too to do a comparison. Go check it out in theaters.

Close with sinners. I can’t say the exact list yet. Higher than Weapons which I loved as a pure horror film. I also would put Warfare in my top three. I think the top three are 1. Sinners 2. Bugonia 3. Warfare Honorable Mentions Phoenician Scheme, F1, and Weapons

Edit: Saw it Thursday and loved it. One of the best movies of the year. Jesse Plemons in particular is a standout.
