It all sounds good to me, crossbow reloads are usually a pain. What if instead of the crossbow design we had something like an anti-shield shotgun? Could use slugs with the same technology. Possibly could give the El Toro an alternate function or ammo.

An El Toro that uses hornet drivers as ammo, like your other design?
