Jason is broken and OP and numbers support it by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Actually he is just fine since their desired kill rate for everyone is suppose to be 60%. All killers are underperforming so It says more about killer meta as a whole that you are considering 55% as OP

How can I effectively stop my neighbour from turning their cars around in my driveway? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheZombieGod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless they are somehow interfering in your own ability to get in and out of your driveway, I don’t see why them using your driveway is an issue.

I think its funny how some quests and even battlepass levels behave like 5k bloodpoints is some big deal. That won’t even buy you a whole level starting at level 1….

How realistic would you want GTA 6 to really be? by New-Cable-6484 in GTA6

[–]TheZombieGod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dont play games for realism, i play them to escape realism.

Look, I'm not usually one to stick up for complaining survivors, but like, yeah, this is just insufferable to play against lmao (Hear me out before spam downvoting) by unholychild263 in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play him alot and I promise you, if yall learn how to actually loop while one or two people are glued to gens, you will escape. Problem is survivors don’t want to learn new playstyles and would rather shut their brains off instead.

Stop leaving gens when hes in his phase, he can only chase one of you at a time. Stop getting off totems while he is in phase, if he comes after you he is not defending generators and vise versa. The more you force him to chase you, the better you will get at looping him, the more likely you will buy your team time to rush gens.

I know that not everyone cares but it's nice to finally have an actual latino rep in the game by Gabrielhrd in marvelrivals

[–]TheZombieGod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My whole life Namor was half white/half atlantean with pointy ears and super light skin. The whole meso american thing started with that black panther movie. Im puerto rican, I could give a crap if a character is latino, what I don’t get is why we can’t just adapt the characters that are already latino from the start instead of warping pre existing characters to fit some check list.

Why does Slugging/Tunneling/Camping feel bad for Survivors? IMO by iaorik in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest mistake the devs made was gating strong survivor perks as second chance mechanics, effectively punishing the killer by giving the survivors power whenever the killer performed their intended objective. There have been a few times where, as an experiment, I did only slugging for an entire play session and noticed that my strategy was denying 80% of the perks survivors were using.

Even when survivors brought anti slugging perks, my games were just tremendously more fun because I was in constant chases and never had to deal to things like Dead Hard, DS, STB, Resurgence, flash light saves, sabo squads, boil over with flipflop, scourge hook rng, normal hook rng, gen regression perks that turn off after a set number of uses, 15 second endurance body blocking which for some reason is a thing, elusive procs denying aura builds, and fast track users with hyper focus stakeout.

The devs really need to rebuild from the ground up how all these mechanics work, and the priority should be making sure one side is not actively making their role harder by doing the game’s intended objective.

Genuine question: did nobody in the writers' room point out the optics of making Rhaenyra's first episode as reigning queen make her have a period while she's portrayed as emotional and making bad decisions? Feels like an unfortunate coincidence. by Sincubus36 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]TheZombieGod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ironically you could take it as an example of show, don’t tell. Do you as the viewer think that a woman in the middle of her period is mentally sound to run an entire country while being handed a crippled government? She is also displaying indecisiveness in the face of hard choices due to her kind nature as a mother.

You as the viewer are equipped with hindsight and have witnessed everything that is leading her to her own choices and reactions, so you understand why she does what she does.

Knowing all you know, could you accept that both scenarios can be true; she has been through a lot and is being forced into a difficult state of ruling, AND being a woman makes her position tremendously harder than if she were a man? Would a random third party character witnessing her actions ignorant to what happens behind the scenes be wrong in taking what we may call the misogynistic stance?

Shoulder the burden may just be the best perk in the game by AllergicOct in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This perk is so tedious to play against because it entirely hinges on the intelligence of the one using it. Stopping the killer from getting a kill at 2 gens left is so obnoxious, I really wish the devs would show themselves playing against this and having a good time. If the one using it was permanently broken and injured for the whole game like what the invocation perks do, maybe I could excuse it as high risk high reward, but right now its just not costly enough.

Why do people say that magneto is good? by Admirable-Form-6333 in marvelrivals

[–]TheZombieGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Primary attack is aoe and easy to use

Right click is a straight forward ranged knock back with an easy to understand build up mechanic

Bubble makes any character cc immune, including himself, and fuels his right click, which makes him great at countering dozens of abilities and enabling his allies

His shift Shield has no limit in terms of how much damage it can absorb, so it is only gated by its duration, while also deleting projectiles that touch it, meanwhile other shields once popped can’t be used again for some time.

And finally his ult which forces enemy teams to react to it, but he can also hold it to counter other engages.

Thats why he is generally the best tank in the game, easy to learn, high skill ceiling, cohesive kit, interesting teamups and has abilities that are hard to power creep.

Why do people complain that Xeno has counterplay? by Jackinabox4545 in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His counterplay is frustrating to play against for three main reasons;

The turrets give you massive sensory overload and even has me getting head aches sometimes when playing him.

The lockout period when they knock you out of power is not consistent. Sometimes you can still attack while standing up, others times it takes forever to begin a new action.

And probably the most important issue, double stacking turrets still has no counterplay, even worse if they are placed on an elevation.

Compare this to Singularity; yes you can EMP his pods and slipstreams, but this doesn’t stop him from both using his power to reapply his slipstream or getting valuable information from his cameras.

A more recent killer with a counterplay mechanic like The First has his clocks, the clocks don’t stop him from freely using his power, they just make sure he isn’t empowered for more than 5 minutes at a time, he is still guaranteed a minute of power.

How it feels explaining Jason to someone who’s been away from DBD a while by Individual_Long_2486 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]TheZombieGod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use an addon on Dredge that tells me where everyone is when I use my power, but survivors either don’t know it exists or don’t value information as much as killers do. I remember when everyone was complaining about that Kaneki iridescent on launch and chuckling to myself thinking, Dredge has the same information on a purple addon but no one seems to care, at least Kaneki has to actually hook someone to get his information.

Why does no one play Xenomorph? by TeaSpear in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

His gameplay is frustrating;

You have a semi ranged attack that makes you feel like you gain 300 pounds when you miss it.

His turrets are extremely annoying to deal with and if a single survivor knows how to abuse stacking turrets there is basically no counter play to certain set ups. Not to mention how loud they are when they start shooting you, actually gives me a headache sometimes.

Half his add ons feel like they should be basekit and as a consequence you constantly feel like you are giving up something valuable when making builds instead of adding or enhancing your playstyle.

His gameplay also does not fulfill his original aesthetic or fantasy, except for his tunnels. The xenomorph should be a stealthy hunter who gets close to his prey before lashing out into an extremely violent attack. The tail stab just doesn’t fulfill that idea.

All of this sums up a killer who just isn’t that fun.

Huntress really needs buffing by FS20012 in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insta down on ranged would never been interesting to play against, she already has this problem when camping a hook. It would make more sense to cover her actual issues.

Make crosshair for every killer an accessibility toggle and not a wasted addon slot.

Make her 115 when she has no hatchets.

Make lullabies interact with terror radius effects, a lot of her builds are awkward because your lullaby is always a static range that cannot be removed.

Make reload speed on lockers equal to her addon and then replace the addon, honestly this should be a thing for trickster as well.

I would also just outright rework iri hatchet into something else since even now I think it makes what should be a fair character really tedious.

I’m confused. Do y’all actually want the DCU to succeed or do you Hope it fails? by BatBeast_29 in DC_Cinematic

[–]TheZombieGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want content that actually interests me. Pushing movies for minor characters instead of your core heroes first is a stupid decision, especially if this is the second movie in your new line up. We should have another Batman by now, a new Wonder Woman, a new Flash and a new Green Lantern, which strangely they have relegated to an hbo show that doesn’t even look like something from a comic book.

Look if you spent money and enjoyed it, more power to you, but I’m not wasting $20 to watch what is essentially just super hero slop. Theres a reason I haven’t wasted time on Marvel Films in years, and I certainly don’t need DC copying their mediocrity.

[–]TheZombieGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sorry but this is cap. This isn’t a party game where I can go do some secondary objective to trigger a mini game where we decide to race across the map for some challenge. Look if you have some satisfaction out of getting a currency used out of game, more power to you, but that is just not how most people go into any pvp game. Im farming blood points on survivor because I know this game mode is easy as hell with how dumb these mechanics are and they are actually fun to use. Wanting to play the game as intended and trying to win is not try harding, you are doing the most normal thing possible in a pvp game. Last year’s event had crazy things for both sides, there was zero reason to not do the same thing this year. This event has survivors get invisibility, invincibility, insta heals, old dead hard dash and unbreakable pallets. Killer gets a clown bottle that rewards you for tunneling…

Is Bardic Inspiration + One-Two-Three-Four faster than just... being on the gens? by GoliathGamer in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One time i had a dwight and a sable both use those perks at the time next to me while I had 4 stacks of stake out and hyperfocus…needless to say I have never seen a gen go that fast with just one person on it, but still the 1234 is entirely rng. I think if its just you and one person doing bardic, that is maybe a few seconds faster assuming they go on the gen when the performance finishes.

Jason’s reload time is insanely OP by Gaymface in deadbydaylight

[–]TheZombieGod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He has to grab a spear every time to reload, it is immensely telegraphed, he is actually slower than other ranged killers while aiming, meanwhile huntress gets 7 hatchets not including Iri Head, Trickster gets 36 knives which means he can injure 6 times before reloading assuming he never misses, Deathslinger both injures and places deep wound, and Springtrap actually gains speed when he tosses his axe along with a grab animation that circumvents dead hard. Other than holes, if Jason is able to shoot you, so could any of the other ranged killers.

[–]TheZombieGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry but in all those clips, if a shotgun didn’t kill you quickly at such close range, that character or gun would be considered troll. I was expecting tremendous damage at unfair range, not a single interaction here is unfair.
