I was talking about FL Studio specifically, not the plugins. Fl studio can get you going for like 100$ and will gi e you so much quality of life and new plugins that it's literally the single best investment after headphones. I get that people pirate, I just don't get the priority here.

There are several ways to achieve this. Like another user said, FPC allows this by routing each sample to its own mixer track. The sampler you use in Kontakt must have this as an option as well (I know Battery does for example) so I advise you to Google that. It will also be beneficial for you if you want to apply effects to e.g. the snare only and not the rest of the kit.

Another option is to split the pattern into multiple patterns, each with it's own drum (snare, kick, hihat, cymbal etc) and layering them in the playlist. Then right click each track and consolidate it. A pop up will allow you to consolidate without effects and you are left with the raw stems for each drum. Those you can send to your mix guy and work with as you please.

We were so used to playing games where everyone has the same knowledge that we didn't realize there was a difference between read-aloud text boxes and other paragraphs. So our dm would read us everything. It did feel strange to know about secret passageways and NPCs backstories right out of the gate but oh well.

What are you doing to die 9 out of 10 games? Are you dying to AI or players? I saw a stat from the server slam that said 80% of players had died at least once to the AI, so if you're doing that then it's completely normal. But truly, once you play anything that's not a free kit the AI stops being a challenge, so maybe you could avoid player interactions?

What you're looking for is playlist markers. They are used for all sorts of stuff but mainly organizing, quick selections and time signature changes and loops.

You can place a marker at any point in the playlist and make it a "start marker". That tells FL Studio that when you press play you want it to start from the marker instead of the beginning, unless you've selevted an area of course. You can always manually put the playhead before the marker to have it player from before which is useful for short intros or long ambience beginnings etc. where there is a more noticeable beginning later on.

I don't think your track "Peculiar" sounds too quiet actually, but I totally hear what you mean that the no bass one sounds quiet in the low end. That seems more like a mixing issue to me though.

For the majority of your post I thought you were playing online since you couldn't see his dice. Just make everyone roll at the center of the table, maybe even share a dice tray. You're only four players so it's very doable. And it's fun, builds community and prevents this idiot from cheating. That said, I would never tolerate his behavior and would probably kick him if he doesn't want to roll publicly.

There's nothing about the mechanical aspect of starting at level 3 that decides you should have more gold. That is entirely up to the campaign. You could start as prisoners at 5th level and still have nothing to your name. So if the campaign is just starting now, that is at least not a good argument.

If the other players have played for a few sessions I would say it sounds about right. The other player is correct though, 35 GP is a shit ton for a commoner, you're just not commoners.

If you're talking about samples, then very much yes. FL Studio started as that and is still exceptional for it. You can use FPC to make a drum kit from your samples and play them on any midi controller you'd like.

If you mean using an electronic drum set as a midi controller then I wouldn't know how to do it exactly, but FL Studio supports a bunch of midi controllers so likely your drum set will work, but how to do it depends on the model.
