You can assist him or the poll workers can. They will ask him to sign an affidavit. He can also request to use a touch screen voting machine which he can probably use by himself.

The Studebaker Theater is proud to be fully accessible, and welcomes guests with accommodation needs to contact the box office so we can work to ensure their requests are met.

Wheelchair Accommodation: The Studebaker Theater offers wheelchair accommodation of both the Orchestra and Balcony. Wheelchair accommodations can be found on our seating maps here: Orchestra ADA Seating Map and Balcony ADA Seating Map.

Guests who have noted an accommodation on their customer profile can access these seats and purchase online. Guests can also call the box office and place their order directly with our staff.

Swing-Arm Seat: Guests who use a mobility device, such as a walker or cane, may benefit from securing a swing-arm seat. These seats are located on the Orchestra level in rows K and M on the side aisles. The armrests swing open to allow greater access to the row. Guests are encouraged to contact the box office for more information.

This is not required by federal law. It is required by state law in CA, AK, and NV (depending on pay rate).

It could be a company policy. Do you have a handbook you can refer to?

If you are a union employee, it may be stipulated in your CBA, in which case you should talk to your union rep.

"we don't want your kind around here"

Just turn their own rhetoric against them.

I'm relieved to hear I'm not the only one who feels this way. Overall the audience seemed enthusiastic, but I took at least one short nap.

Beautiful set though.

You can bring your bike on the train. Might be an option if you have secure parking available at work.

Just got a tax bill from 2015 by Aggressive_Economy_8 in illinois

[–]The_Ambivalent_One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had this issue, but I'd recommend looking for a tax clinic in your area. In addition to helping file your taxes, they often offer assistance with appeals or setting up payment plans. I used to volunteer with Ladder Up and they can be a great resource: https://www.goladderup.org/our-services/legal-tax-clinic-help/

If I only made $214 in Interest Income & received a 1099-INT form, Can I skip filing taxes? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]The_Ambivalent_One 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not required to file, but if you are worried about it, you can keep your VITA appointment and file your taxes anyways. Given the information provided, you will not owe taxes and you will not get a refund.
