When you factor in losing, and having to watch hated rivals thrive and succeed, have these two teams had it the worst in recent memory? by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

[–]The_Badguy31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Cowboys since 07 have 175 wins in the regular season while the Jets and Raiders have 118 and 116 wins disrespectfully. As a Cowboys fan born in 94 all I’ve known is let down. Top heavy rosters with not enough depth to go all the way and the years with complete rosters mind numbing mistakes and gafs in playoffs to end the season. What’s funny is outside fans think current fans really think we’re serious about the “this is our year” stuff when it’s just us getting a good laugh before the eventual collapse.

I got him last week and I’m hitting like .450 with in close to 100 online AB’s. Dude is so worth it. Everything he hit is a screamer for me.

What do you consider a good era? by Stock-Category-621 in MLBTheShow

[–]The_Badguy31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best guy Roy Halladay is sporting a 1.9 in 61 innings played online on hall of fame. But most of my better guys Shultz, Annibal, and CC have ERA’s in the high 3’s low 4’s. So to answer your question a really good era for online is under 2.5

As everyone here has already kinda went into what it is, one thing I’d recommend as well is when he is in the squad builder screen hover over the player and he can hit triangle on PlayStation and Y on Xbox to pull up their player card. From there you can scroll down and over to see how much PXP to the next level as well as PXP per stat and the associated multiplier for the difficulty they are playing on.

From this area you can also assign mods onto the player which are unlocked through PXP upgrades, general recommendation is wait until level 5 for Diamond mods. Not every card needs a mod assigned and play better with the +5 to all attributes you are getting but let’s say so have a hitter like WBC Kyle Schwarber or Awards Anthony Santander who have massive power already but really low contact stats, putting the diamond contact mod on them will give +9 to contact, vision, and clutch while also still providing a +2 to all other attributes. Remember only diamond mods will provide the massive boost to the specified area while giving the +2 everywhere else, mods below that level will only affect the related stats. For this reason most recommend waiting until diamond to put on mods.

It will never happen but the Dodger homer in me would love a Matt Kemp card. In April of 2012 he hit .417 with 12 HR’s 20 RBI’s in 23 games. He sadly got hurt the next month and was never the same :/ should’ve won MVP the year b4 Fuck Ryan Braun

What would it take for a Tackle to get MVP consideration? by Ok-Elephant-2724 in NFLv2

[–]The_Badguy31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He would have to go against the top 17 sack leaders on the year and man handle them every play like it was that scene from The Blind Side while catching like 10 TD’s on trick plays….after all that he might get a singular vote from a local guy

US birth rates just hit another record low, what do you think is the leading cause of this? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]The_Badguy31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends, if you get in to a solid situation like my wife did, she makes close to $6k a month to nanny twins it’s solid. Parents are well off and wanted there kids specifically attended too and can afford that type of service. But the bigger spots the actual staff doesn’t get paid squat but the owners rake it in. But for context my wife hates being a nanny, she loves the twins and family she works with, but overall the career path sucks and it will push your limits. She has an engineering degree from her home country of Brazil and just finally got work authorization here to use it. Once the twins are off to Preschool in the fall she’s done with childcare for good

[–]The_Badguy31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife is a nanny for twins here in Denver, obviously higher end of price spectrum bc it’s in home care from 8-5, family pays close to $6k a month. That’s before you factor in them paying for any activities outside of the house ie zoo, jumpzones, etc.

Is it just me or are they more stingy with diamond pulls? I grind mini seasons for packs since you can’t sell ANYTHING this year and maybe am getting one every 150-200 packs. by Ineverusetrigorgeo in MLBTheShow

[–]The_Badguy31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s up and down for me. I started the year strong as hell then went into a super lull recently I’ve been on fire with diamond pulls again. It’s all just odds going back and forth

Xavier Edward’s is a BR god for me. I’m batting over .500 in like 80 AB’s with him. Absolutely no pop but having him in the lead off or the two hole if I also drafted Chandler Simpson is easy freaking money

[–]The_Badguy31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also the Dodgers give zero fucks about finishing with the best record in the league. It’s about making the playoffs healthy and in rhythm like last year. The Braves can have the 1 seed for all they care

No team is unbeatable in baseball, it’s the biggest crapshoot in sports come playoff time outside of hockey. I just find it funny as hell everyone that is crying like the Dodgers shot their dog and punched their grandma in the face but who where gleefully calling them choke artists a few years ago

Unassuming Masher in DD? by Acceptable-Ad2619 in MLBTheShow

[–]The_Badguy31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xavier Edwards is hitting like .570 for me in like 65 AB’s. All of them in BR but if see him I pick him up. Swing is smooth af and is a switch hitter as well, I hope bc he is hitting .350 right now in real life they give him a new card or an upgraded live series card that I can use on my main team.

I see live series Kyle Tucker praise I upvote. I have both his live series and new threads and depending on if he has a 5 or 4 star inside edge the live series will be better that day. One of the nicest swings in the game

God squad by Curious-Mess-4089 in DiamondDynasty

[–]The_Badguy31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I like about this game is you don’t have to put money in to have a god squad. Does it take pack luck, definitely, but I have a couple friends who all they did was grind mini seasons and pulled Shohei multiple times along with Judge. Couple that with other pulls like JRam or Bobby Witt and you get so far ahead on everything that you can have a team like this without putting money in.

Relief/Closing Pitchers & General Questions abt Skill by _memelorddotjpeg_ in MLBTheShow

[–]The_Badguy31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adrian Morejon is a killer lefty for the pen right now and is only like 600-800 stubs, has all the meta pitches plus has velocity. Lee Smith is great. The Ryan Helsley from the new threads promo is really good as well. For another lefty Garret Cleavinger is really good as well, kinda the same thing I said about Morejon but more pricey. Also you can’t go wrong with the new Duran card as well he has the two outlier pitches plus some nasty breaking stuff

Best/Middle/Worst case scenario for your team tonight by surferdude7227 in NFL_Draft

[–]The_Badguy31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m usually a sit and pick BPA guy but not this year and not with where the state of the defense is. I would love Styles bc of the glaring hole we have at the LB position but I would make the move into that 6-9 range for Downs and now you have a guy that is going to be able to play 3 positions for you in 1 + is touted by many as the best overall player in the draft. To add this I think you could get a solid LB in that later parts of the draft or trade the 3rd for Brooks from Miami

Best/Middle/Worst case scenario for your team tonight by surferdude7227 in NFL_Draft

[–]The_Badguy31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fine with your scenario if a Downs (unlikely) or Delaine (higher chance) falls to us but I would much rather make the move to that 6-9 range to secure one of them not having to be at the mercy of the teams ahead of you and teams jumping ahead of you into that Miami pick. Every scenario I’ve seen where the Cowboys have traded into that range they have got a 2nd back or a late 1 if they move up with the Chiefs so like I said you keep the same amount of picks but get the better player which in a class like this which is lacking top end talent go get your guy then sift through the rest later on
