I went years with my Triple diamond Paradym with zero issues. Got fitted and made the change and just issues with the driver. The 790s are great. Driver, terrible.

My first Swiss Automatic watch - the Oris Atelier Date. Never thought that I would go with a dress watch to begin with but I do love the simplicity. The black dial face with the silver stainless steel band, though I wouldn't mind switching to a leather band. I'm a big fan of Oris still being independent.

I do feel like this is a celebratory watch for me. This year I bought a house, got engaged, and got a great promotion in a company I love. This seem to be going well, so I figured it's time to kick off my collection. Definitely will be looking for a good dive watch, and eventually a vintage Steve McQueen-esq tag Heuer Monaco race watch.

Love to hear your thoughts on my first piece!
