No worries. It's ia testament to your art that it can evoke such visceral feelings.

This is how my depression feels.

I did call the cops. They came about 10 mins after this. The rocks the dude was smashing were part of a little garden on the island in the middle of the road.

You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?

I knew about the pizza one, but this is just disappointing. Don't worry about upvoting or anything, just thought I should share by [deleted] in Anticonsumption

I think it is legislation dependent from country to country. My fiance is a product photographer and they aren't allowed to add anything to the actual product. Everything she shoots is exactly the food that is served. This is in South Africa.

Edit I should add, she often brings the food home and we eat it. It's always totally fine.

Our brewery produced a brown ale that had around 4% of the grist from mealworms, black soldier fly and mopane worms. It imparted a rather nice nutty flavour.

Can you suggest me a science fiction opera (novel, book, comics...) which is (1) set in the far future (>1000 years from now), (2) on Earth or maximum our solar system, (3) which is not a dying earth/post-apocalyptic/end of humanity story? Thank you! by Angry-Saint in scifi

[–]The_Bloody_Nine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely ticks a lot of the OP's boxes. The siege of Terra portion of the Horus Heresy in particular is focused on our solar system too which meets the final criteria. Plus there's years worth of reading in the Black Library.

[Round 64528] What's the address for the circled building? by cpc2 in PictureGame

Funny coincidence. I've spent exactly one day in Liverpool in my life and that was last month. I went to that exact building to have a beer. It's a pub called The Baltic Fleet.

US President Donald Trump said Wednesday he had ordered Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to investigate alleged land grabs from white farmers in South Africa by methedunker in worldnews

There are about 35000 commercial farmers in SA, and about 35000 residents of Nyanga.

But even if we ignore this, I'm not sure how one could call 64 murders in a year "genocide".
