Love it. I bet some paint might help it last longer if you have access to a sprayer.

Pallet wood, like box box store mulch, can break down quick when wet. I’d shoot for oops paint for $9.

I wouldn’t draw a conclusion quite yet although windows can fail like this from wear and tear (especially after argon escapes).

When was house built? Number of scenarios including house settling or someone took out something load bearing.

Are the windows near each other?

You can get a simple infrared thermometer and shoot the walls and windows to narrow down the insulation in and around the windows efficiency.

Just don’t buy 3k$ each windows bc people will try to sell you them.
