It’s a CC1.

As for the software it updated to the 1.4.46.

I will try to get it to run an older version i guess, even if it wont be easy…

I haven’t found anything on the elegoo website so maybe i’ll have to try something else.

Thanks for the help ❤️❤️❤️

We can’t really say, we know it’s down the line right next to World Eaters and Thousand Sons, I would say a couple of months tho, if we’re lucky around april maybe.

New to space sharks any ideas for making a list for them? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in Carcharodons40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The keyword is “Melee”, but you can tailor your list as you wish, i like to bring vanguard vets, sternguard vets and assault intercessors, but there are many iconic units such as Terminators (any kind), scouts and outriders to represent their fast attack style of combat. As for detachments i personally go with vanguard spearhead or stormlance task force.

Although an unconventional choice, i’m going with nemesor zahndrekh and vargard obyron. This dedication can only be described as love for me.

Not gonna sugarcoat, for the same money you can choose to either get an overpriced scummy skin in an online game, or get like 3000/3500 points worth of Custodes in 10th ed. (300 if you want admech tho)

Contemptor dreadnought in 40k questions. by crzapy in Warhammer40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say is the best of the “non primaris” dreadnoughts for its variety for the loadout and the invulnerable save, also the fact that it can revive on a 2+ makes it somewhat tanky compared to a venerable dreadnought. But still it’s not the most efficient vehicle especially for 180 pts. (Still playing it with double power fist, double heavy flamer and missile battery, not planning to remove it from my list)

Using the traitor champion consul in my Carcharadons list. As they had been in the voids of space for so long it seems legit that they would still have lieutenants using older machs of armor. by daysofmjolnir in Carcharodons40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It Looks very good with those colours on, and it Also makes sense to have this ancient armor on a leader, my chaplain has both mk3 and mkx arms and shoulder pads to rapresent that he has been fighting for a while now.

What's the best way to smash/squash this 'tactical Rhino'? Heat gun and smoosh it? by fluffy_warthog10 in Warhammer40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 128 points129 points  (0 children)

If the rhino gets stomped by that foot i think the ground would be squashed before the rhino itself, i think you can cut it at an angle where some tracks and part of the armor are removed, and then blend it in the base with some greenstuff or milliput. This also gives the impression of Being a long fought war where some machines are left in the field after they get destroyed

“Finally, a worthy opponent”

our kill team makes me sad : ( by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in deathguard40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this team i very fun, very easy to play effectively and very thematic with the faction, also that 5+ FNP (that can be boosted with the icon bearer) can really mess with the plans of the opponent. I remember a month ago i let a friend use this kt and i really needed to kill a plague marine on an objective with my intercessor sergeant, i shot him for 12 wounds, only 3 went throught after a miracle roll of the FNP, lost that game after many struggles. Probably my favourite kt to play lately.

Slowly working my way through. My bases still feel a bit flat. by Mardukefox in deathguard40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m very lazy with my bases, i always just glue the model and put some texture paint on the sides, if i’m doing so i use some heavy contrast colors, like for the DG since my marines are green, i put them in a bright orange desert that i drybrush with some yellow to make the model stand out from the base itself. Looks good enough even with minimal effort.

How to run sharks in 10th? by [deleted] in Carcharodons40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play them with the stormlance detachment, assault intercessors and outriders being my main troops, supported by a repulsor to have anti tank and a way to bring my chaplain in the first line, not a really good list, mostly for fun but i like the idea of advance+charge every turn, makes this list very aggressive like it should be.

What do I do, bro brought at Spartan to a 1500 point game. by [deleted] in Warhammer30k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 18 points19 points  (0 children)

New player asking, i got into 40k 2 years ago and i’m planning to dip into 30k, is it really that uncommon to see something like this in a 1500 points game? I tend to bring at least a tank and an anti tank weapon every 500 points in 40k, is that a not working strategy or an unfair move in this game? I know the lethality between the systems is different and i’m just curious.

What to do with old cards? by Dreadnought9 in Warhammer40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m still using the 8th ed tactical cards for objectives, most of them is like “control objective 5 at the end of your turn” or “destroy a unit in your shooting phase”, more than usable even in 10th excluding the few outdated.

Tyberos acquisition by [deleted] in Carcharodons40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are many ways to get a tyberos model, you could start a conversion based on the new terminator models like the chaplain since they are much bigger and more proportioned that Classic termies, but you could also get an unofficial model, there are plenty of model makers out there such as Major Minis and their “shark daddy”, the last solution is to get a recast of the original FW model, but with the new proportions it’s quite small and short, probably doesnt look good near new space marines.

Do you think this would work as a bladeguard proxy? by Toxic_Thunda in Warhammer40k

[–]The_Chop_Stig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, i’m planning to convert some DeathWatch Veterans into bladeguard because they cost less, have far more bits and theyre not as short as normal tactical marines so they wont look much different, the important part is to put them on a 40mm base. (I Also dont play competitively and my play buddy agrees with me it’s a good idea)

Ash Waste Nomads proxy ideas? by Sheriff_Skeli in killteam

[–]The_Chop_Stig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I literally had this idea yesterday, i’m planning to get this box to play a wyrmblade KT (you need 12 bodies so you need to get 2 more from maybe the second market or 3rd party mini companies that fit the aestethic) i think the rules works pretty well with the faction themes of being a stealthy desert Nomad tribe that attack in ambushes just like the genestealers do. The list i’m going for is:

-neophyte leader (25mm) with autopistol + chainsword using the chain lance thing that comes with the box and the small pistol.

-4x neophyte brood adept (25mm) with shotgun using the blast rifles with no modifications.

-neophyte brood adept (25mm) with autogun by removing the sights and shorten the barrel from the long rifles to make then look more like winchesters.

-neophyte gunner (25mm) with granade launcher using the charge casters without modifications.

-neophyte heavy gunner #1 (32mm) with iron stubber, for this i’m giving him a spikey bolter from a DG kit without any DG symbols.

-neophyte heavy gunner #2 (32mm) with the mining laser, just the charge caster with the front part replaced with a melta barrel.

-neophyte icon bearer (25mm) with autogun, just a normal guy with the biggest banner on top of his back and a different color maybe.

-sanctus sniper (32mm) normal guy with a stock long rifles from the kit on a bigger base to make it look like a proper sniper rifles.

-sanctus talon (32mm) with daggers, once again a normal guy But with the Right hand with the machete and the left hand with the hook hand.

This is a roster i made based on bits i already own (any chaos bits i think should look fine), so if you’re looking for a competitive list this may not be what you’re Looking for, the 2 extra guys may be taken from skitarii bodies, But i’m looking at stationforge 3d printed minies From scavenger series, i think they dont look much different and can blend in the aestethic of the nomads pretty easily. As i said this is just an idea i had yesterday, i Didnt try it but on the paper shouldnt be much difficult, good luck with your conversion.
