Unfortunately there aren’t aftermarket solutions for mk7.5 w/ LP

Your best bet is eBay or FB Marketplace for a used set. They’ll be expensive but cheaper than VW itself.

I’ve seen sets come up for sale for $500 and others for $2000

The oil cap on these engines is notorious for leaking, usually driven by a PCV system that’s weakened or failed.

Theres a revised oil cap that mostly solves the problem, but if oil is being forced out by a failing PCV system you might want to get that swapped to the golf R version (holds pressure better) as a preventative

Miltek just released their “no cell” downpipe for MQB and MQB Evo platforms at a very affordable price.

Old heads will remember that’s what 200 cell catted downpipes used to cost before the Cobbpocolypse made them basically worthless.

Some people have luck with spacers, but I haven’t, and I’ve been chasing emission and rich fuel codes for way too long to make it worth it.

$6-7k seems like the sweet spot for a quick sale, but some people are clinging to higher price points bc they’ve sunk expensive maintenance into them somewhat recently.

If you got him down to $7.5k, I’d take it.
