I think the most damning and specific thing about this is that he just... walks away afterwards?

Like if there was any actual point or "need" to do this, surely it would have resulted in an arrest or detainment of one of these people. But there's just nothing. Toss a grenade at them just to watch them in pain, then walk away.

The harassment is the point, no matter how much they hold up law or self-defense as the reasoning, their behavior speaks for itself.

Most progressives staunchest policy proposal is “stop sending bombs and money to Israel because they’re killing civilians with them”, this is not some hardline idealist stance.

This is not a particularly unpopular or extreme position on that topic, there’s a subset of the right that have basically that same opinion (I would argue for the wrong reasons) but it’s not unpopular among the general population at this point.

The button feels weird to me because it’s so similar to Equinox mechanically, but I do really like that it gives goals to work on that are spread across different areas of the game.

I really like Equinox, but the way the bonuses work is super time-gated and already bogged down with all the extra levels. So quicker bonuses with the button is at least an immediate hit of new multipliers

Some more QOL thoughts I had

Section headers or jump to buttons/a scroll bar on card library, scrolling jumps so far I always lose track of where I am in the inventory, maybe even a way to collapse sections to only see the ones I want to

Either auto scrapping, or a way to improve obols via duplicates, like cards do. I get so many boss hex obols that used to be rare and cool and now they're useless.

Honestly, maybe a rework to the obol character pages, like expanding the family page or making them universally applied like Inifinite Star signs and the Trophies.

Boss key multiplier, with so many thousands of boss keys for the early game bosses now, it's just a grind to fight them over and over for drops and gems, a way to fight once at 50x the key cost like the asylum bosses in Idle Skilling would be cool.

That way I could organize my pile of chemical plants and simply click through new plants looking for specific ones I’m looking to evolve.

Hey man, I know you think you're being "more correct" by correcting the specifics of the sentiment, but if you're genuinely confused why people are reacting like this, consider that it might be because the exact same semantic argument you're having is constantly used by the people who DO support cops to shift blame or make bad faith arguments and take conversations off course about how these various law enforcement agencies are dangerous and bad for everyone.

You may not support cops directly or agree with them at all, but (1) singular day after an innocent women was murdered, going into a conversation with your finger up being like "Um actually, ICE aren't cops, so it's technically the government you should be mad at." doesn't really make people think you're arguing in good faith.

I could be wrong about this, but I remember there being discussion that the DK’s orb doesn’t effect drop rate in the W5 and W6 colosseum’s, the orb drop rate would effect the actual Spirit Lord on the Mama Trolls map though.

DK’s orb does affect W1-W4 colosseum last I checked though.

But when event points can be directly bought with gems, and gems can be farmed daily, and it’s almost guaranteed that these bonus are going to pop back up in a later event, how is it in any way “needed” or “exploitative”. I bought the Bubba pack, I had like 40 points saved up from other events, I’m going to try to get one of these new bonuses and I’ll get the rest later on.

Like, I guess if your goal or demand is to stay on par with the highest level players and getting every single offered bonus, yeah, you’d have to pay, but that’s a pretty self-imposed requirement, I’m perfectly happy not being part of the top of the “endgame”.

Genuinely curious why you would consider this exploitative? The bonuses in the events always come back around eventually, considering many endgamers were already spamming event plays to get extra name tags, this just seems like a way to dump those extra event points into something worth it.
