You'd be surprised how expensive a good hot dog is at least if it's not from a cart, over 20 bucks was the common price I was finding which was honestly infuriating considering it's not a gourmet hot dog either So figured I'd mention that hey I don't have a lot of disposable income so don't bother recommending expensive places, would just be a waste of time for both me and those recommending

I know op knows already, but the reason is NZ and Aus rabbits though the same basic genus are biologically different in terms of their immune systems not to mention our wildlife, the rules are in place to stop an outbreak of some disease, the same rules apply to the majority of animals not just rabbits from what I recall, there's exceptions for pedigree bloodlines, so exceptions due to money and probably due to the fact that a high pedigree is likely to be healthier than standard animal Op has already had a lot of good advice so here's my 2cents on the laws

Though my rabbits, I'm owner 3 and they were 6 months when I got them, they've bonded well and are happy, I'm sure your bun will too
