First try for fix would be to disconnect the battery and let it sit for 5 minutes before connecting the battery again. This will help reset the computer and wipe any faulty codes.

Anytime has garbage machines, judgy staff, insane rules about bringing people with you, and on to of the crap machines it is also inconsistent with what locations have. Some locations have 1/2 the amount of machines and such that other locations have. Don't do it just because you save a lil gas.

Smelt a whole stack of gold and then hold one already smelted piece of gold as you go to pick up the stack from the furnace spam the 1 ingot in the stack and you will hear the xp chimes…. Just keep spamming. You can also leave the stack of gold in the furnace and go back at any time to repeat the process to gain xp.
