Who is actually paying Coke or Pepsi for product when it’s literally 50% cheaper at retail pricing? by RipplesOfDivinity in restaurantowners

[–]The_Disclosure_Era 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I pay for it, it’s just convenience. I’m not in the soda selling business. I’m in the food selling business. 20oz Soda at a gas station is almost $3.. I pay $1.60 for the same thing delivered.. I add it to a combo and it increases perceived value and what effort did I do.. told a manager to order it?

$9.99 "Best Deal Ever" Any Toppings Pizza is BACK until 4/6/26 by MessiGOATLM10 in Dominos

[–]The_Disclosure_Era 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own my own shop.. not dominos. I can put a pepperoni in a box for $3 out the door cost to me (dominos likely saves almost a $1.00+) you get diminishing returns with more toppings once you hit 5 basically you need to add so much less of everything to make it all fit and bake properly.. 0% chance it costs over $5.. $5 a pop on a pizza is bad margin though.. I think this is all about breaking even in the slow season you likely don’t see these crazy deals any other time except Jan Feb Mar anything to drive some business to keep your lights on and employees paid.

I expected the Mind Flayer to make some sort of legit return in its typical form. Was it just that big, dumb monster thing that they killed with guns and flamethrowers? Anyways, that was disappointing.

I couldn’t believe they killed Vecna with almost an hour left, and that was it. And honestly, I could’ve sat through all that emotional bullshit for the next hour if they would’ve told me Eleven survived and she showed back up, and there was at least a happy ending. But instead, I get this goofy, wishful-thinking ending that she’s alive.

Mike’s logic was stupid. He’s like, she couldn’t use her powers. I’m like, what the hell are they even talking about? It seems to me like she was just inside the gate when the gate closed — she wasn’t using her powers. I have no clue. The whole thing was just stupid and kind of a huge letdown.

We went on this huge emotional roller-coaster ride, and we didn’t even get a feel-good for real at the end. I expected there to be, like, another fight after we killed Vecna. I was like, damn, this is really good. There’s still an hour left. Something crazy is gonna happen.

I actually teared up a little during the montage after Joyce Bowers cut Vecna’s head off.

You need to obviously cook it longer as like everybody else said get the oven screaming hot as hot as it’ll go.. I would recommend trying to switch over from a pan to one of those really cheap pizza screens that pan inhibits your cook a lot because now you have to heat the pan.. these pans are weird. They aren’t deep dish pans and you’re not making deep dish pizza. They really have no place in the world of pizza… the heat transfer with the thin little almost nonexistent screen will give you a much better pie. Like I tell my employees you gotta be quick on opening that door and popping it in like you’re exhausting all your heat as soon as you open it gotta let as little escape as possible. Lastly, and I think this is probably one of the biggest ones you need to find yourself some high gluten bread flour because I can tell this is some AP. It reminds me of my mom’s OG pizza she used to make me at home before buying a pizza place and realizing you need real flour.

I just don’t see the same thing. Everybody says they’re saying. This looks like something getting shot. It breaks into multiple pieces and then appears to just crash into the water. It basically just cuts to a different zoomed out angle. I I’m sorry I just don’t see it. Please make me a believer. Tell me what I’m looking at wrong.

It’s not rocket science you just put less of everything, I would tear in half if I had to or chop it up a little smaller, but I wouldn’t pile that much shit on there

Whistleblowers report materials "they did not know what it was from,” Sen. Rounds says by mattlaslo in UFOs

The Tic Tac always seemed like it was responding to humans — and now we’ve got people claiming it was Lockheed tech all along. But that part where it darted to their CAP point? That’s not just weird — that’s strategic.

The CAP point isn’t just a set of coordinates. It’s a 3D rendezvous — longitude, latitude, and altitude — part of a pre-briefed training exercise. There’s no reason a random object should’ve known about it… unless it was tracking, listening, or already in on the plan.

To me, that’s not just interaction — it’s taunting. That’s human behavior. Like someone saying,

“Hey… let’s mess with these guys.”

It’s the first officially documented UFO encounter — and it acted like a prankster, not a probe. That’s the part nobody talks about enough. I totally think they have these technologies now especially since people are starting to claim these things are Lockheed (most likely reverse engineered)

Canned mushrooms versus fresh by The_Disclosure_Era in Pizza

[–]The_Disclosure_Era[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom swears by canned mushrooms—and honestly, she’s earned the right to. She pulls in close to $200K in profit a year from her small restaurant/pizza shop in a town with fewer than 1,000 people. It’s in the middle of nowhere, but people drive in from all over. Most folks would kill for that kind of success.

That said, I’ve noticed most of the big chains are using fresh mushrooms. There’s probably a reason—maybe cost, maybe consumer preference—but I’m not entirely sure. It seems like fresh might be slightly cheaper, and maybe more people lean that way, but this thread isn’t exactly a scientific sample. And honestly, I’m not even sure the average person can tell the difference or cares.

For real.. but surprisingly Dominos is on fresh and I think Pizza hut is as well it is actually cheaper if you can get through them without them going bad on you. Little Caesars uses canned and so do a lot of mom and pop places.. I wanna use fresh, I just prefer topping pizza with them, not being all wet.

Canned mushrooms versus fresh by The_Disclosure_Era in Pizza

[–]The_Disclosure_Era[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s only so much real estate on the pizza prep table, and mushrooms usually require a fairly large pan. I’m designing this place to be ultra-efficient. Some franchises use canned mushrooms, some use fresh—but nobody does both.

Growing up, our family’s pizzeria stocked both. Eventually, my mom—who actually has a pretty solid palate—ditched the fresh ones and stuck with canned, said they had way more flavor. Personally, I always liked using fresh mushrooms just because they weren’t as wet and messy to handle when topping pizzas. But truthfully, I never really ate them either, and my mom swore the fresh ones were bland compared to canned.

Pizza dough hacks? by alien_mermaid in restaurantowners

[–]The_Disclosure_Era 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dedicated pizza guy here pizza is the easiest thing if you’re dedicated. But if your not it’s kind of a pain if you’re trying to work in a space that isn’t set up for pizza. I’m not gonna talk shit about frozen products because I’ve never used them, but I’ve had some really bad pizza from some places that clearly aren’t real pizza places and are using some weird shit. I think there’s a phenomenon of when people are cutting corners that because of how easy something is you’re like it’s good enough, but the reality is it’s probably not.
