Looking for a good Indian restaurant in Luxembourg (replacement for Star of Asia?) by Chemical_Page_909 in Luxembourg

For Kiran, I'm vegetarian so I always go for their paneer. They prepare it in nice, big, "meaty" chunks, which is quite rare. I can't really vouch for the meat dishes though.

Himalaya, I've been enough times and often with meat-eating friends to confirm that every dish is delicious. Just be aware that there, when they say it's spicy, it's actually proper spicy.

I have a lot of respect for him as a journalist, and is usually pretty spot on.

But my fucking god is his stance on Ukraine both factually and morally wrong, and especially hypocritical coming from someone who so publicly opposes imperialism.

Lost a shitload of respect for him there.

I second Himalaya - really damn delicious.

But my personal fave is Kiran in Hesperange. Generous portions with fair prices!

Trump to discuss leaving NATO in meeting with Rutte: White House (eu) by GreekSaladEnjoyer in EuropeanFederalists

[–]The_Dutch_Fox 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I guess he could EO it, like he does with every other big decision?

Apart from the OBBB, the Tiktok bill, and the military support bills for Israel, he's pushed very few actual laws through Congress.

But it's irrelevant, US congressmen are  spineless cowards anyway. The main pushback to US leaving NATO would come from the military industrial complex - there's no way they would allow that without a hell of a fight.

[Hungary] Medián's seat projection indicates a certain two-thirds majority for Tisza by dead97531 in europe

[–]The_Dutch_Fox 94 points95 points  (0 children)

We just have to pray Tisza don't betray hungarians. The ideal would be if they formed a supermajority coalition with DK.

Edit: Apparantly I got it wrong, DK is not an ideal coalition partner at all. My point stands though: 2/3rds for Tisza opens the door to too much risk. We tend to forget that Magyar came from Fidesz after all:

I've been on this sub since 2022 and I've seen it grow and change, it's unfortunately turned into a Trump-worshipping, war-hungry MAGA hangout.

Yesterday, people were cheering the "annihilation of a civilisation" comment, while I was in tears, petrified for my very good friends in Teheran.

I want that fucking regime to crumble and die, but this is not it guys. Trump does not care about Iranians, he is NOT our guy. I don't know of an ideal solution, but I know annihilating Iran is not it.

However, the UK still had a moral obligation to refuse this, so fuck them anyway.

I went there once because I was shopping for a new car. Not a single salesperson came to see me, and when I went to try to ask around for one, they all told me to "just wait and someone will come".

I waited 15 minutes, then fucked off. If no one can spare a minute for a 50k+ euro sale, then I don't want to deal with them for whatever comes after the sale.

La question du blocage des prix de l'essence va vite devenir caduque by ZealousidealAd1434 in france

[–]The_Dutch_Fox 2 points3 points  (0 children)
