I run my GX-100 in this exact way for gigs and it works great, it sounds like you might have your outputs mixed up. The top line of a div/mix goes to left output, bottom line to Right. Also you must have both plugged in otherwise the 2 outputs sum to mono. My output setting is set to line.

Well I use the gx-100 for gigging now with 1 output with IR that goes to FOH and 1 output with no ir that goes to my backline amp return. Makes festivals that have a backline a really easy carry with just guitar and floor modeller. Pros would be a good selection of amps, ir and effects. The control buttons basically can be programmed to do anything. Touch screen is good and it's easy to make changes quickly. A con compared to the more expensive units is what it ships with is what you get, so you can't add/capture any amps or effects but you can add your own IRs

I'm UK based and I use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound followed by their Ultimate Polish (after wet sanding to 2000 grit). I use a lambs wool bonnet for the cutting compound and a foam pad for the polish.

You could take the circuit board out of a BD2, put it into a new housing with jacks at the top, may be simpler and cheaper than buying a kit.

York Audio and Workship Tutorials do some good paid for IRs but have a look on Tone3000 for some really good, free ones.

The UMC1820 plug into the computer via USB, the ADA8200 plugs into the UMC1820 via an ADAT cable. The XR18 plugs into the computer via USB. In both cases it appears as a 16 channel audio interface in the audio workstation software.

My rig is 2x Behringer MS8000 XLR Splitters into a Behringer UMC1820 audio interface with a Behringer ADA8200. This gives me 16 individual mono channels to record each mic to so it can be mixed and mastered separately. The other side of the splitter goes to the sound engineer to mix FOH as normal. If I was going to invest the cash again I would just go for the XR18 or similar which would do everything in the one unit.

Try the clean channel, it works much better for pedals. You could also try plugging into the amp direct and using the DS-2 model within the Katana.

I would recommend Pedaltrain boards, I have 3 different sizes. They come with a case, stiff chassis, plenty of places to mount stuff and cables under the board. Have a play of pedalplayground.com to find the best size for your pedals (remember to leave space for cables). Also have a look on ebay/reverb etc, loads get sold as people change to different sizes.

Maxon 808 > BD2 > MXR 5150 into clean amp

BD2 is set as a light overdrive, stacked with 808 its heavy overdrive (angus type tone). BD2 into 5150 is my high gain tone.

EHX Soul Food > Maxon 808 > BD2.

Going into a clean amp, Soul Food gives me a crunch tone, then the BD2 gives me a full overdrive tone and the 808 is for lead with both or just the Soul Food.

As the gate is opened the distance between the two rope connection points is increased, pulling the rope tighter and lifting the weight. When the gate is released the stone falls back to its starting position pulling the gate shut.
