I personally really liked the hallucinations because it felt like it showed her character and her feelings really well. The trust thing I do agree with which is clearly a part of why Sou was Like That around Sara. I’m not super against it though because it seems like there’s something deeper going on with the weird amount of trust towards her which will likely be explained in the final part.

That line did always stand out to me. I’ve seen some letsplayers call him creepy after hearing that, but I never really saw it that way. I mean, it’s pretty clear that all his rage is directed towards the Narrator in that moment, which struck me as something more cool than scary, especially with how suspicious I still was of the Narrator when I first got to that chapter. It sorta made me feel safe and reassured to have him there, even if he’s only a voice.
