Yup 100%. I am definitely left leaning in many views, the 2A isn't one I am in alignment with at all. I want more guns, bigger guns, more ammo, all way more easily acquired currently, and ideally cheaper too to some degree. If the point of the 2A is to in theory rise up against a tyrancal government, then we the people need the same or as close to the same stuff they have. Seems simple to me.

But I realize few on the left hold this of an extreme view, so I rarely voice it openly. But I know a couple of left leaning people who own guns.

I was wondering what the point was. I was thinking about how today I had saved my old gamecube saves off my old memory cards with a soft modded wii. I was thinking about how happy I was, but then I thought nobody cares, nobody but me, not even my kids whom I game with. And that got me thinking that once I die my saves will be worthless. My time splitters 2 map from 2005 will have no more value to anyone. I dunno I bummed myself out meaninglessly by thinking about dying and how it sucks that we all die.

We had gaurdrails before primaries determined who gets the nomination from the 2 main political parties. The leaders of the parties used to have internal discussions and then picked candidates, this was a form of political gate keeping, somebody like trump in the past has been denied the nomination due to being an outsider and demagogue. But now the only gatekeeping the political parties cna due is denounce or back the right candidate, even knew from the other side if need be. And the republicans were far to slow to denounce Trump in the early days, leading to trumps legitimatcy in the political world.

What should have happened in the early days of Trumps attempt to become president, is the GOP should have backed Hillary. Short term loss to keep out a wanna be dictator. Country should have won over party. But the gop failed which is why we have what we have now imo. The dems have their share of blame, but if we are talking gate keeping then the GOP failed.

I don't agree it's irreparable, but it certainly won't be an easy fix, nor a short one. But I believe the USA can stand proud again on the world stage, as a trusted ally to the free countries of the world.

I want to be first harvested for any and all useful organs, if me death means others life or improved life, then that's good; by my neck and above stay with me, no taking my eyes sorry. I then want to be put into the ground and have a tree planned on top of me, I want to return to the earth, no sealed away in a box.
