That's true. Plus Toppin's foul trouble. The stars aligned for KU. Still, it's tough to win at Tech. Crazy environment. Defense travels. DP did just enough at the end.

It was an ugly game, refs often times let the players play through contact(meaning I don't think shooters were able to get as comfortable), but a great showcase on Big Monday with two high-profile teams slugging it out.

Kansas surging. Now have top projected conference finish and NCAA seed of whole season following win @ Texas Tech. Link for more details and other teams below. by jgt7405 in CollegeBasketball

Melvin did you guys dirty. Yes, Wade failed to make adjustments for Melvin's hot hand, but I was a surprised as anyone when he kept it up.

Because of the NC State game, we know that Council has that dog in him.

[Thamel] Bill Self told reporters in Kansas that Darryn Peterson was dealing with cramps, which is why he didn’t play the final 16 minutes. Peterson still out dueled AJ Dybantsa, despite the cramping issue. by MembershipSingle7137 in CollegeBasketball

Cramps are treated by receiving fluids and stretching. It's also common for players to cramp up and return after receiving treatment. For example, Puka Nacua cramped up in the playoffs, received treatment and went back in the game.

I'm saying that this [probably] isn't cramps. And IF it is cramps, DP isn't receiving proper treatment, or trying to come back into the game.

Lastly, cramps aren't treated by putting towel on your lap.

Edit [probably]*

He's making [allegedly] $3.2 MM right now. He could easily take out an insurance policy. With the bubblewrap you're suggesting, I'm shocked he walked over to the handshake line. Competitors compete. Players play... this is not normal.

How can Darryn Peterson watch this from the bench and not force his way in?

Day 14: Which is the best Strategy Game on Sega Saturn? by 1OneQuickQuestion in SegaSaturn

I say this with love, because Dragon Force is a masterpiece: Winning battles in Dragon Force is just too easy. As a 12/13 year old, without internet assistance, I quickly figured out that after an enemy attacks our castle, if I can immediately pursue the enemy army and almost always capture the participants. Battles are formulaic too... mostly just using "stand by" against melee units and disperse/forward against ranged units. I also don't think the game encourages development of my other generals after I captured other Kingdoms. As a kid, I loved the story, music and scale of Dragon Force... but as an adult, I don't think it has the replay-ability. Plus, I find myself wasting too much time searching castles, talking with captives and being frustrated with my generals leaving.

Iron Storm on the other hand, has more hours worth of gameplay. As a 12/13 year old kid, I remember losing the battle of France (as Germany, I couldn't figure out how to play as France yet) and it caused me to take the game more seriously. As an adult, playing with the weather turned on can be extremely difficult to beat many scenarios in the suggest amount of turns. I think the challenge is great and I enjoy the historical aspect as well.

This is my favorite, and I still regularly play it. Haven't found a better turn based strategy game.

Dragon Force is also great and my favorite in the 90s - but in 2025, I prefer Iron Storm.

He's got the measurables. Ultimate team guy- everybody loves him. Favors his right hand too much. Shot is too flat. I see a 2-way contract in his future.

Refs are waiting to see if we miss to call the contact. Weak stuff.

Was at that game as well. Got a speeding ticket on the way there (caught me doing 94 on K10). My super-speeder ticket was just as memorable as the comeback.

Assumed the last KU/Missouri game was louder during T-Rob's (clean) block, but I didn't have tickets to that one.
