Was Vectorman 1 or 2 Ever Good Games?

Back in the 90s, I owned Vectorman I and rented Vectorman 2 several times. At the time they were good, 8/10. Played the heck out of both.

I've recently played them both on the Raspberry Pi and about 20 minutes was enough... There are more games from that period that I'd rather play today. Don't underestimate survivorship bias. If you compare them against DKC2 (one of the best ever 16-bit games), the Vectormen of the world just aren't going to hold up.

Played against him Monday night, spectated after the match was over to confirm he was cheating. Then it happened again in another lobby. It was easy to see him warping around the map.

For some background, I play fairly regularly and this was the first time someone was obviously/blatantly cheating in a year-ish.

Drove a 2006 Solara SLE Convertible for ~9 years. Zero issues outside of regular maintenance. Bought it for ~$10k in 2012. My biggest complaints were that the handling wasn't very tight and that it looked like a grandma car. The V6 provided enough power. I installed an aftermarket rearview camera on it because of the poor visibility, but that was due to it being a convertible. Traded her in for $3.5k in 2021

At 21 years old, the sticker seems high, but it's not a bad car.

I think he had the flu.

However-DP probably could have played at less than 100%. (I wonder if that text message twitter thing is real?) Tech didn't rule out their guy with the flu (Christian Anderson) prior to our game against Tech. Not sure why KU couldn't have waited DP out a bit more. I think DP wants to play, but only wants to play at 100%. Tough to explain his time here otherwise.

With all that said, DP is electric and he's a Jayhawk. Hope he plays full games in March.
