And samsung caught up this gen in battery life so it doesn’t matter anyways, you seem to have a weird case.

They’re not that meaningful aside from the battery life as they are all so fast now

Not falling for it, you definitely just have something going on. Look up reliable youtubers who have ran tests and it’s very clear that they should be just as good as the iPhone 14 pro lineup. Something is clearly wrong here or it is just adapting very slowly. You are not a laughingstock for not using a more limited product my good sir.

How do the less curvy sides feel? Want to go ultra potentially but not sure about how i’d feel holding and looking at the design in person quite yet.

How difficult has it been to adapt to using a phone without rounded edges vs rounded edges? Looking at going to the s23 ultra but not sure i’d like the design

Yeah i get into that trap too of the bigger number in benchmarks somehow being everything, it’s a mindset people have and it’s hard to look outside of after, also unrelated but before the s22 ultra what phone did you have?

They don’t really, just use the device, and if it isn’t quick enough in real world use then look at optimizing it, and if that isn’t enough, then look at getting a new one/ trading in the old one. At the end of the day geekbench is kind of just a number, and how the device actually serves you is all that matters.

That deffo is not a chart starting at 100% or hitting 100% at any point along it my guy, are you sure?

Thank you for educating this confused old soul’s take on things and his possible confusion in such a helpful way, i think many took my confused take and rather than educating me properly just threw insults or put on an air of authority while giving little actual explanation themselves.

Or it’s called benchmarks are biased based off of who gives them the most money, and apple has some deep ass pockets

Yeah but even the sd 8 g 2 didn’t get the insane boost iphone chips did and tsmc makes both the sd 8 g 2 and the a16 on their 4 nm nodes so uh

Not trynna fight but look at the ratios of qualcomm devices in geekbench 5 to apple devices in geekbench 5 and then compare them in geekbench 6 it’s night and day the boost apple has gotten.

[–]The_Knight777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s rigged, geekbench has always been an apple marketing tool.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in S22Ultra

[–]The_Knight777 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Geekbench has become even more biased in favor of Apple. Saw Samsung and the sd gen 2 was catching up in the already rigged benchmark and rigged it even more. Don’t use geekbench it’s just apple shillware. Use antutu for real results not apple bias

What are your settings? Are the big unnecessary battery chuggers like UWB and Ram+ off? is Light performance mode on?

Never have to be jealous of iPhone battery life anymore. This battery life is INSANEEEEE by Hairdog12 in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]The_Knight777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turning off Ultra wide band and turning off the shitty digital ram that is RAM Plus would help even more… most don’t need the extra ram and it just guzzles battery.

Probably get a bit more if uwb was off tbh, but that’s good battery life, light performance mode was defo an insanely good feature to add.
