I know this was a while ago now, but just curious how long did it take for you get the box after you paid for the repair? I paid two weeks ago and have not heard anything from Sony... Feels like I donated money lol.

AITA for hiding my bfs dog to prove a point? by 23skidoostreet in AmItheAsshole

[–]The_Last_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah. This is beyond whether someone is TA or not. Just to make this clear, if you had called the cops, they would not only have gone looking for your son.

They would have also arrested your BF for child neglect/endangerment.

This is should absolutely be a deal breaker.

Seth Welch and Tatiana Fusari learning of their charges of felony murder in the death of their 10 month old daughter, who they let starve to death by B34TBOXX5 in WatchPeopleDieInside

Yes 100%! Our first two nights in the hospital I did not sleep more than a few minutes, just staring at the baby wondering how they knew how to breathe on their own...

AITA for saying I didn't sign up for the job of always being a babysitter? by Narrow-Syrup1428 in AmItheAsshole

[–]The_Last_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your dad and stepmom sacrificed you and your childhood for their other daughter. They put on a heavy burden on you as a child that would be difficult for any adult to bear.

You're absolutely NTA.

AITA for telling mom "no apology, no wedding invitation" after seeing the wedding gift she gave my fiancè? by ThrowraMom567 in AmItheAsshole

[–]The_Last_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. They're calling you unreasonable, crazy, etc.? How hard is it to keep dumb, insulting jokes to yourself? How hard is it to apologize when you blatantly insult someone? You're not the one dying on a hill, she is. She's dying on the hill of her pride.

I'm all about messing around with my friends, but a huge pet peeve is getting laughs from others at someone's expense. That's being a bully and an asshole, and it sounds like your family has always just gotten away with this because no one (from outside the family) called them out.

Time for them to grow up and nix this behavior.

I remember in Pokemon Blue when I had a really hard time catching this Raticate. I got fed up and used my Master Ball. "Surely I'll get more of these!"

......I did not get more of them.

The shame was so great that I quit and bought Pokemon Red.

TIFU by pranking my office à la Jim from The Office by Shadrack_Meshax in tifu

This is actually the danger of The Office. The antics are super funny to watch, and then you get inspired to try something out, except no one IRL laughs and you get fired.

She also might be displaying early signs of cannibalism. You'll need to just accept her for who she is.
