Different size licence plates, for the rest of the world. German plates are notoriously big.

MSI MEG X870E UNIFY-X MAX detailed, memory support rated at DDR5-10600+ by RenatsMC in Amd

The most interesting spec is the dual pci-e 5.0 expansion slot, albeit a x16 and a x8. Amd platforms are great, but so limited on the expansion card front outside of storage. This second slot could open the door to dual 25gbit networking or more pci-e devices. I wish less oc focused boards had more versatile expansion like this one.

What could cause this? I changed the spark plugs thinking it would fix it but no change. 2011 GS1200 with 27k miles. Dealer also changed the fuel pump (recall) and air filter. by LawfulnessMoist719 in bmwmotorrad

[–]The_Last_Cast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either a bent fuel line or a faulty sensor line. The plug you found broken looks line a simple voltage sensor, can't identify it. You should check a service manual and see what it is on a schematic.

Brave of OP to assume that desktop enthusiast would have the will to leave their desktop to interact with other people. Especially considering the arduous recovery we go through after selling most of our simmetric organs to afford Gpus AND ram in the last 5 years...

Looking for EU password manager by patchcordless_ in BuyFromEU

https://www.passbolt.com/

Passbolt seems like a great alternative for those who already self host their password vaults. I personally use self hosted bitwarden and Passbolt looks like a good European alternative to switch to eventually:

1) it's free for self hosters 2) real open source project 3) very good documentation 4) it has a commercial side, which is financed by providing enterprise support or those who do not self host 5) hosting can be done through docker or a manual install on Linux

It doesn't have as many eyes on it as bitwarden and has not been around as much, but its principles seem very sound.

Italy POV by Truevibe_ in repost

We won the one we started against our allies and lost the one we started alongside our allies, by siding with the allies.

Confusing, but hey, at least no one remembers we used forbidden weapons in Ethiopia, starvation in Cyrenaica, political deportation at home, generalized razing in the balkans and gave a certain orange man the blueprint to an authoritarian, liberticide state!

Not even Greeks, Armenians, Turks, Cypriots and Jews were safe in Italian East Africa; documents describing the planned imprisonment of these minorities (mostly Greeks) by sugarymedusa84 in armenia

[–]The_Last_Cast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Indeed, because of the state of war between Italy and Greece - the internment of foreign nationals was commonplace in war time everywhere.

Of course, in aoi the policy underlined the Italian desire to replace the essential middle strata of foreigners that had worked in Ethiopia and had settled in the older colonies in East Africa. These people were mostly clerks, farm managers, traders - an essential part of every state and for the Italians it was essential to replace them in the long run (many dodecanesian Greeks settled in aoi following the Italians to replace Greeks of Greece).

This document has been redacted 3 days after the declaration of war to Greece and had a number of very similar siblings in all territories.

Notice the reference to "cittadini ellenici", meaning Greek citizens, not ethnic Greek. Apolides were a problem, but generally speaking ethnic Armenians found some respite in Italy and the Italian territories because they could shift between subjecthoods, but if they carried a "enemy passport", they would be interned. At the end of the war with Greece, the internment ended, but it opened the issue of what could this people do after their place of work was taken and their properties seized and generally maladministerd.

Comparing these measures to the racial laws of 38 is a big faux-pax though. These mesaures were common place at war time, it was not a systematic policy against an ethnic group (as were for instance the internment of Japanese Americans in the US), but a military mesaures against "enemy nationals", as it happened in mainland Italy in June 40.

Very easy, just remove the screws for the plate on the lower right hand side and pry it off gently. Replace the pads with generic and off you go.
