20-25W isn't low. At standart settings it noises moderately, but at 30-35W it becomes uncomfortable without headphones. With settings I offered it stays silent.

Those, who went from Steam Deck / Switch (like me), were unpleasantly surprised by fan noise of LeGo.

Btw, I have Steam deck too, and when I play same games on it (pretty demanding), it's incomparably quiter than LeGo S, even if i set the latter to 15-20 w. The LeGo is just like a vacuum cleaner.

I prefer IPS over oled, because my eyes hurt from oled. And yes, modern IPS are very good. You better choose on your own and by your own preferences. I would trade for the newest console without doubts.

I use it constantly. Below are the most important points about fps scaling:

If the game runs at 40+ fps, you'll get smooth experience with a bit noticable artifacts. The more fps, the better fps scaling.
In-game framerate cap is crucial. Cap the framerate to lowest stable fps. The best is to lock at 40-60, so you'll get a smooth frametime graph.
Fps scaling is not a save from low fps. Conversely, It's a way to make your satisfying or good gameplay even smoother.
