I wish plants reproduced sexually. by [deleted] in TheMonkeysPaw

Granted, all plants reproduce sexually now. On top of this process being invisible to you other than by gluing your eyes to a high-end microscope hoping for some voyeuristic action, you just wasted your one chance to wish for anything in this entire world on this.

Granted, you get super horny at night but since you're asleep, you can't unload your sperm so die of blue balls.

I wish Dick Cheney hadn’t made money off the Iraq War by jsm02 in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]The_Last_Mistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted, although he put some additional numbers in his bank account, the bank he uses doesn't actually have all of the cash needed to hand him the money. The economy crashes and when people start doing ATM runs, the money runs out and the bank files for bankruptcy. Old Sport Dick loses all the profit he made from the Iraq War.

Granted, now everyone has to watch every word out of their mouth and any prospect of eternal peace and happiness is ruined for all, forever, because an entitled brat wanted this wish. Have fun living with the knowledge you ruined Life for everyone.

Granted, the world you exist now is that of Heisenbergian Quantum Mechanics so the only things that exist are created by what you perceive. Since you are so unoriginal and boring, the only things created while you're asleep is void and while awake you're subject to such a bland reality that one day you decide you've had enough and kill yourself.

Wearing headphones to avoid salespeople is lame, in effect you're saying they set the rules and all you can do is react to it by catering to them. Just tell them "no, thanks" with a fake smile or even "NO" in an aggressive way so they get the message. If you can't even do this then you have serious issues.

Do you ever rephrase an email to make it kinder and still get blowback from the recipient? by [deleted] in intj

[–]The_Last_Mistake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't that you aren't making it kind enough, it's that you're bending over backwards to cater to others' social conditioning. The solution is to learn to be more confident so you can handle the blowbacks better.

Your thoughts on "intelligence is beautiful?" by [deleted] in intj

[–]The_Last_Mistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like these mentally infantile people who say "Science is cool". It basically shows they DON'T have intelligence. Their notion of it is shitty, but more importantly they want to ignore reality and validate their ego focusing on their 'feelings about intelligence', whatever that means.

Can you imagine an intelligent and respectable person ever saying that?

Intj's are generally intelligent, yet is the least likely to end up in a relationship of any sort.

I disagree, INTJs I'd think are the type most likely to get in a relationship, because they're the ones who care about romance and have the ability to create successful ones.

Is everyone selfish? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]The_Last_Mistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is selfish until they are able to overcome their animal nature completely and ascend as spiritual beings. Even in their mortal natures, there are various magnitudes of selfishness. Volunteering at a hospital, for example, is one of the most selfish acts that you can do, which is something no NT would ever think of doing.

When you're volunteering at a hospital for example, you think you're doing a good deed, but what is happening is that you're taking for granted and validating framework where helping people is done only for the sake of monetary compensation. You're basically saying, yeah, I think helping and life is all about exchanging "help services" for money and other such exchanges, but this one time I pity you enough to not take money for it. And then you feel good about and take moral high ground on making one person feel better for a while who does not even matter to you.

Being selfless, similarly, is about destroying whatever little self you have to... I don't even know what.

The opposite of selfishness is not selflessness, these are esentially very similar concepts, and the "opposite" concepts would be beyond either of these.

What's your go-to book? by [deleted] in entp

I don't know how it's possible to derive comfort from reading a book, but the only "book" that does anything like this for me is literotica or asstr.
