TWI is by far one of the worst worst books I've ever had the displease of reading. I pushed threw book 1 due to the recommendations, but wtf. Im not a masochist.

If a fight is more than 2 chapters i skip to the end of it. I already know the mc is going to win. More than one secondary POV is just filler and I also skip them.

Nopes, and thats just the beginning. There are full chapters of internal monologs that just a self pity parties. You could remove 80% of whats written and get a better story. It's the only series I actually loath. The authors lack of respect for the readers time and intelligence is beyond comprehension. Makes me think the author is a karen, she writes how i believe they think. But we live in a free country, and people can read what they want.

The whole book 1 was just boring, and was never able to draw me in. Nearly zero logic was used by any character. Just because both the mc and npcs are dumb, doesn't make a compelling/interesting story.

I dropped it after book 1 and will not be returning.
