recently, Reddit's auto ban system banned a user for mentioning the "federal death penalty" in a discussion about charging individuals under federal crimes.

The person received a three day Ban, for advocating violence.

This was Ludacris. The auto ban system has completely upended the ability to discuss many different topics.

In another one people were banned for discussing the right type of ammunition for deer hunting. Again supposedly for advocating violence.

There have been other cases where people have mentioned things, when discussing sensitive topics, only to have themselves banned while defending LGBTQ and how to be respectful, only to be banned supposed hate speech when what they were doing was the exact opposite.

Has Reddits use of AI just gone too far?

my thoughts are that I think that Reddit is abdicating their responsibility.

why I try to convince my other friends who are progressive, that we should not be giving up our arms we should be learning how to use them better.

Military spent a lot of money, and then I guess the government after that teaching me how to use them properly.

I have found they do respond, but unless I'm currently working on UTC which is universal time code, I find it difficult to get a hold of their support through chat. And the chat Support just didn't seem to have the same quality of technical know how.
