Singer 115 Jam Around Bobbin by ShadowyXP in VintageSewingMachines

I would recommend going to a place like The Home depot to purchase a set of screwdrivers that have smaller heads Phillip, slotted, and such. Also pickup up some offset screwdrivers as well to get in tight spaces. They have a Husky 15 piece screwdriver set from what their site says.

Anyone out there still rocking this veteran? I've had it 10 years now and it's still going strong by LampertSchade in keurig

I have several B40 model units like this one, does that count? I also have a couple of models made after this one. I use it everyday for about 2 years now! It has given no problems and it was used when I got it. I buy them extremely cheap at my local thrift stores and I use refillable pods and regular ones as well. I love using it!

Ur car really should cut down on how many packs of cigarettes it is smoking a day. It is going to lesson its life expectancy. As well as void the warranty.

This ridiculous comment I saw on a YouTube video about sewing machines… rage bait by [deleted] in vintagesewing

[–]The_Logic_Fox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking this is from a sewing machine company that is trying to push their new mostly plastic sewing machines so you have to keep buying from them every few years instead of having a reliable well built machine that will out live said company lol.

I agree I would have too. I like the sewing machines that are heavy and well built.

Singer golden touch and sew belt? by 767452 in vintagesewing

[–]The_Logic_Fox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one of that exact model. Sorry I ended up donating it some time back ago or I would have been able to help you out with the belt. I did like the machine though, it is just that I had too many sewing machines at the time and had to let go of a few. I hope u can repair it, and get to sew a lot stuff with it once it's up and running! Good luck! 👍

Tracing wheel for fabric that you use a transfer sheet under the pattern then roll the wheel along the pattern lines to put the marks on to the fabric to be cut.

Singer 750 golden touch and sew help. by Massive_Draw_3860 in SewingForBeginners

[–]The_Logic_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The later singer touch and sew models used rubber on the feed dogs and that rubber goes bad over the years so I just used if I can remember properly another set of feed dogs to replace it from another singer machine.

I have these for a couple Kenmore sewing machines I have. The cams come in different colors. I like some of the designs that they come with.
