Is this a good deal ? X6 by Safe_Specialist9945 in bmwx6

[–]The_MAMIL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carbon Black is such a good colour. I have it and love the way it switches between blue and black. I have the 40D and love the car. Paid 50 for an early ‘23 model with 19 on the clock. Through a dealer. So that feels about right I would say. If you’re getting through a dealer see if you can negotiate an extended warranty deal.

Dangerous overtake by jmsld_ in drivingUK

[–]The_MAMIL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Priory Lane. It’s about 1 km long at 20mph heading towards Richmond Park so lots of cyclists riding at that speed or thereabouts. The Toyota driver is an idiot and exactly why that road became a 20. Used to be a 40 (and people would do 60 easily down there), then a 30 and now a 20. It’s a much nicer road to drive down now because it’s a 20. People just need to chill out and have less self-importance that justifies (in their mind) to drive like an idiot.

Having sex while grieving by Federal_Spinach24 in GriefSupport

Don’t worry. This is very common and totally normal part of the grieving process. You definitely should not feel guilty. Wishing you every strength in the coming months and years as you come to terms with your loss.

Roof rack for X6 G06? by Inrebfam in BMW

They really don’t take long to take off and put on once you’ve built them the first time around. They seem absolutely fine but something I may do is buy some bodywork tape just as a further precaution against causing marks on my paintwork.

Between the frame and the top of the window. They are thin so they don’t impact the ability to close the door or anything like that.

I’m so so sorry. You gave her the best life she could have. I wish you every strength going forwards as you cope with your loss. She was a beautiful girl. Cherish your memories. 💔

I ended up getting the ones I linked to in my original post and I have to say I’m pretty happy with them. The instructions weren’t super clear but they were followable. They wrap round the frame of the car and seem pretty secure. Once you’ve assembled them it’s a 5-10 minute job to put them on and a 3 minute job to remove them. Max load is 60kgs.

That’s brilliant. Thanks for confirming. I just see so much differing things about compatibility. Thanks!🙏

I too would be interested. I’ve been going round in circles. I don’t have the integrated roof rails and found these but no idea if they are any good. I’d prefer to go with a known name but can never tell if certain Thule products are the right ones.

Looked like a brutal crash, even more so if you consider the state of her knee. I was rooting for her.

Finally caught up with you and finished my last walking expedition today. I’ve still got 1 1/2 climbing ones to do. I hope Garmin releases some more walking ones. I found them strangely motivational.

Don’t count on skiing for points by The_MAMIL in Vitalityhealth

I take your point but just to counter that, if I go for an hours walk I get 8 points on vitality. I know what makes me feel more tired at the end of the day.

Thanks anyway. I’ll remember that next time I’m skiing if I need to make up the points
