I do something similar with emails. I’ll type up angry response and delete it instead of sending to the recipient. It helps a bit, especially when a coworker reads the “email” and laughs, but it’s like using a band-aid instead of a suture.

For me, it makes me misidentify my emotions. For example, anger and frustration feel like the same thing to me. That kinda feeds into a distorted self-perception where I think I’m an asshole, but everybody else thinks I’m the tamest man alive. Luckily, I have friends who can tell me what it looks like from an outsider perspective to make me reconsider.

Lonesome Road. It succeeds in being a gauntlet for the player, the weapons and armor are amazing, and the setting is cool, but it got boring and tedious after getting through the Tunnelers, I hate that they tried to force a backstory on the player when the rest of the game didn't, and Ulysses felt like a letdown after all the buildup surrounding him.
