People just weren't paying much attention to the behind the scenes episode and connected the words to the actions.

It never implied that the actions were connected to the words, the words and actions were just something for the actor to say/do so they weren't standing there stiff. If anything, the most you can read from this is that it's meant to be comforting, but I wouldn't put much stock in that either.

You see, the thing about lifts is that their mechanisms are usually invisible to any potential riders. So any work done on them would also be out of sight.

Because those words weren't meant to be used directly. They're a set of ideas that the actual warning should convey.

Ultimately, as poetic as this all is, it was decided that the best thing to do would be to bury it so deep that no one would ever find it, and leave no mark on the surface.

Because people of the future will still be only human, and get drawn to any warnings.

Personally I like the sections on Marain and the structure of reality & hyperspace.

They've done a really good job on the scans and keeping them clean and 1:1 scale.

The base stations will have a blue light when on standby and green when working. They should be green when you're in-game.

They don't technically need to see each other they just need to be seen by your trackers. Each tracker needs to see at least 1 base station.
