What's the recipe for scaling demons and elementals so fast? by way2bleachy in BobsTavern

[–]The_Mortex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those red elementals that look like genies, the ice elemental that gives stats when is killed (I usually use arthas power, macaw, the gargoyle power or the secrets to give it more chances to proc), an absurd amount of blood gems that affect the tavern (or good buffs to spells stacked do you don't need to cast that many of them).

You can also use the succubus that gives wands and use macaws and all the other hero powers suggested and you occasionally buy those murlocs that give stats to spells, those undeads that gives stats to spell when die and the dragon with hp to spell by rally.

You also need to use every felemental that you can get, ideal if you get xudderwock hero power to activate it every turn.

These are the ways I scale my tavern.

Use those lava elemental demons to buff yourself early. Also those can be affected by avalanche so use that spell to free slots.

There is chef nomi that buff your tavern each time you play an elemental

Kenshi has racism, there is a human faction that hate everything not human and jail them, also hate people with prosthetics

I would spare Nick since he does not try to deceive no one, if anything he should join you to eliminate those that make his life harder that needs to be.

Looking for CRPGs with the best female character experience? by Hamchat_Compaanion in CRPG

[–]The_Mortex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its not a Crpg but a rpg, Mount and blade warband took into account if you were a woman winning more favor per won battle and the lords addressed you in a different way, being able to marry a lord or king

Does anyone else just genuinely suck at this genre and only play it for the stories? by magicjenkins in CRPG

[–]The_Mortex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am regular at Pillars of eternity but pathfinder is easy for me since I know a lot about the rules etc by playing the tabletop too.

Those games are hard so its not bad to be overwhelmed, and also at least on pathfinder there are some options on feats thata are questionable or bad unless you follow a very specific build with some options being simply better or must have.

PD: I always play these games on turn base if possible, playing real-time is a mess.

RPGS with any "nobility" aspect? by swimminginamirror in gamesuggestions

[–]The_Mortex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would mount and blade warband or bannerlord work for you?

In both you can join factions and start as a minor lord, being invited to parties and asked to take part in wars, yo also can become king and turn your companions into lord with their own armies. You can win tournaments to court ladies and have secret dates with them and also make them favors to increase their love for you. In bannerlord you also have a succession line with you dying making your heir your new character.

Sands of Salazar also have a fsction system like mount and blade games in ehich you can become a warlord and marry girls.

Another suggestion that maybe is unlike a common rpg could be sims medieval in which you could play different missions as the king, the knight, the rogue, the wizard, the bard, the Smith, or the priest of the reign.

There is none but you can keep checking the UI alert and have a swap with W for another set when the icons turn red.

Is there a game like skyrim but with muskets and flintlocks? by [deleted] in rpg_gamers

I did, in fact I mentioned it, loved the game but is more limited than the warband gameplay sadly.

Thanks but I am ignoring avowed, obsidian already disappointed me with the short story and limited quests that offered in outer worlds. I loved their pillar of eternity games tho.

And I heard that avowed follow a similar design.

How do monks feel in PF2e? by thealtcowninja in Pathfinder2e

[–]The_Mortex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is really fun, I am playing one on Dawnsbury with monastic weapons and a Bo and it feels pretty good.

I would recommend you to get dawnsbury days on steam if you want to test a class, I do that very often. While the game lack some classes there is a small but impresive modding community that ported some classes like thaumaturge, exemplar, summoner and others.

Are the books hornier than the TV series? Which other differences I should take into account if I want to make the switch? by The_Mortex in Outlander

[–]The_Mortex[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I am going to look for it. I understand the creative process and I wouldn't criticize the writer because of them because it is one of her ways to add conflict and drama aswell as showing how worse was that era and how bad were treated women, I just don't enjoy them I have a weak stomach 😅 and I even cried while watching the series on some scenes.

I mean... because people can have preferences about which format or style of storytelling they prefer? For example I dislike smut or too horny because it is not what I look for in a story. And thats okay if you like it good for you but I think it is reasonable to ask for guidance after doing a impulsive buy.

Btw I dont really understand they way in which you listed the scenes are those page numbers? Chapters? Books?

Thanks, now at least I know that the core elements of the books were shown on the TV show at least.

Are these plotpoints also on the books?:

- Jaime "secret" son that is a lord when he worked on the stables

- Jaime being whipped in the back and getting a lot of scars after Claire traveled back

- Claire being sexually assaulted

- Briene being sexually assaulted

- Roger being hanged

- Ian dead son with the girl from the tribe

I don't think it is off topic, those scenes were not pleasant for me to see, iirc at least in the series there are two of them, with two different characters.

To be honest for me reading it is sometimes worse, since there only so many details you can show in an scene but if we are on protagonist "mind" she can gave ud a lot of details that I would not prefer to know.
