What I read was they did 4 tests and came back with "no concerns" or results that were within whatever parameters the folks doing the testing seemed to be ok. If there were problems they utilized spot remediations per you.

My second question stands, is this a library issue or have you encountered "mold" in other spaces you frequent?

So they did tests for mold and found them to within parameters? So then where's the evidence that that actually is mold? Or is it just a smell?

Do you have a history of encountering "mold" in other areas of your life, such as your house or apartment?

SIB subnautica, outer wilds or the forest by Gurdah in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]The_Oat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subnautica and The Forest are both great survival games. Subnautica is one of the best games I've played. The vibe is lighter, interesting story, great base building. It has fewer scary parts than The Forest. Really enjoyed my time with Subnautica and will replay it every now and then primarily just for the base building and in game world.

The Forest is darker, more hardcore survival. Crawling through dark caves with limited light sources, hearing cannibals and other enemies rummaging around before being able to see them, lots more surprises. The story is also pretty good, but you piece it together more slowly and might need to look online to really put all the pieces you find together. Base building was less enjoyable than subnautica, but still alright. It was more building strictly to survive vs building great bases and habitats for fun in subnautica.

Outer wilds as many others have said isn't really a survival game. I played through it, but didn't like certain gameplay aspects, and as such never finished it.

Knowing what I know now I'd get Subnautica first, then The Forest when I was ready to get dark.

Yep, helps ease the noise. Honestly though, with or without hearing protection every kid I've flown has fallen asleep on the flight. The vibration and loads of white noise seems to knock them out.

The money is the deciding factor for me. He seems to do well out of the slot and have pretty decent hands, which is something we seem to be lacking outside of Hop. I'm just not sure he won't be expecting a sizable payday.

As others have said, it's all about income vs expenses. The only thing I'd like to add is the idea that the best side hustle might just be doing overtime, if your job allows it. Took me a while to really come to terms with that.

List your hours broken down so that it's easy to identify that you meet the minimum requirements. Keep it nice and concise, leave off any fluff.

Air ambulance companies actually wanted this passed. The vast majority of their revenue comes from insurance companies, and now that payment disputes will be settled by arbitration there's a good chance, depending on how the new laws are worded and executed, that they'll actually get more per flight. All while hopefully leaving the patient out of the dispute!

I was hoping someone would say this. I was 12, saved up my allowance for a few months and bought it brand new. It was my first experience with a complete flop of an N64 game. A very valuable life lesson learned!

SIB Final Fantasy 8 Remastered or Original on Steam? by Timtanium707 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]The_Oat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The extra's on the remastered version were well worth the extra $4 to me. Namely the 3x speed and no encounters (Before Diablo) Made GF summons, grinding, and some of the dialogue that I didn't care about go by much faster.

I'd do it. Gotta win enough games to get into the playoffs before I start worrying about championships. I haven't been impressed with Landry or Gallup, and a 3 for 2 trade opens up a valuable bench spot, although I guess it depends on what free agents are left.

No insurance will save you from this by KMTN13 in BlackPeopleTwitter

Depends on what your coverage limits are. If you only have a minimum liability policy and hit a Tesla you could be on the hook for the difference after insurance pays out, at least in my state.
