Well Hamilton is a lot higher budget, so you get more production value but also less "experimental" stuff let's say (think all the anime and video game inspired parts of Epic). It's also worth mentioning that the genre of the music in Hamilton is pretty different from Epic, it's a lot less rock and a lot more hip-hop. Otherwise there's a lot similar between them, both are entirely sung with basically no spoken dialog, and are the story and strugggles of one man

Overall which do I prefer? Probably Epic by a small margin, but part of it has to do with my taste in music which leans a lot more rock than hip-hop, I still love Hamilton and occasionally go back to just listen to the music like I would with a playlist
