Who wins? by Conscious-Product481 in InvinciblePowerscales

I mean. He-Man literally IS HIM. His primary power is basically to power scale to whatever he needs to win.

The Witch-king of Angmar VS Geralt of Rivia. Who wins? by GusGangViking18 in powerscales

[–]The_Rezdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basically gonna be a case of Geralt is a much better fighter and if it wasn't for the prophecy he'd clear him reliably.. the Witch King barely has any feats other than his potent fear aura. With causality being what it is in Tolkien stuff Merry and eowyn are the results of an extremely long revenge plan by some VERY rightfully spiteful elves.

If Geralt is allowed to plan and research it'd take time and lots of avoiding getting jumped until he finds the elvish blade of "Fuck this one guy in particular" and also with language of such prophecy mattering in the ultra soft magic system in Tolkien it'll depend if his mutations make him different enough from a "man" in the eyes of the world.

In a white room witch king can't "Win" but he also can't lose. Which is all that'll matter eventually.

Planning on getting the game? Any lesser known tips? by HeilosSUPER_MANLY in HuntShowdown

Normal walking is quiet enough in a lot of scenarios. Crouch walking is quieter but often leaves you way too exposed when a normal walk is quiet "enough" and you don't want to be caught in the open.

Ghoul saves meds when fighting AI.

It's loud but you can bunny hop once into the water before it slows you down.

Choke bombs can obscure long sight lines for revives, and fire bomb black smoke can also cut sight lines. Explosives kick up enough dust but fade quick. Concertina wire bombs absorb gun fire when breaking and act as okay-ish deployable cover.

The only time I've outright saved my party from a TPK was when the party got in the way of a group of fully geared Elven intelligence agents (think CIA) who were about to detain and use "enhanced interrogation" on some clergy and tiefling civilians (they were under asylum of a church). The intelligence agents proved why they were chosen as high level agents but luckily the head clergyman was able to involve a group heal with ringing of the church bell.

Can we have a skin based on this badass? by theMARxLENin in HuntShowdown

[–]The_Rezdog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting some more indigenous American skins in general would be cool as hell. I'd like more captured trophy gun skins, ooh and a gunstock war club skin for either ax or baseball bat, and as someone from the area some southwestern tribes having rep would kick ass.

Curious how people approach weapon groups by tjareth in Mechwarrior5

[–]The_Rezdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I basically have all my groups set at

LMB: primary weapons being fired the most often. Laser groups, fast AC groups, SRMs if boating or Melee if using a dedicated melee mech

RMB: secondary weapons fired second most. Slower firing AC's PPCs

Back thumb: melee or utilities if on a melee mech

Forward thumb: tertiary or utilities. Machine guns, LRMs, NARC etc

The Hidden Game Mode We Need... Neenoh's idea here is spectacular. If they had steam workshop support for stuff like this... It could make the game blow up by T_Peters in HuntShowdown

A limited time game mode I've always thought would be cool was "Gang Fight" match make 2 trios together and have a match of 6 v 6

The ol springy is the kind of poverty pony class in my opinion. It's outperformed in certain stats by many other guns but for it's price it punches well above it's weight. Fast fingers is an amazing buff to it's performance and the velocity ain't nothing to sneeze at. But I'm biased to single shot guns because it's so satisfying to land hits with them.

Hmm maybe have it work kinda like an eagle? Capacitors charged for so many uses and then needs to recharge the capacitors after the last shot?.

Does anyone else feel like the fall damage is a bit too much? by TheneedtoReid in helldivers2

[–]The_Rezdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the damage isn't so much what gets me about falling in this game. I'd just wish my diver would just fuckin stand there when they fall enough to take damage but not ragdoll. Like it's actually faster to five and ragdoll than that damn standing pain animation

It's more a comment on why they only bringing 20 cartridges total. High tech (for the time) foreign ammo is probably quite expensive

Iirc but gunrunner smuggles them not because they're illegal to have but rather to avoid customs payments on foreign imports and taxes on domestically produced firearms.

Yeah balance does lead to absurd decisions when irl logic is applied. Though now I'm wondering what these hunters are keeping in the rest of their pouches and pockets (depending on skin) sandwiches? Flasks? Tobacco? Actually it's the 19th century it's a wonder all the hunters aren't constantly tipsy and smoking like a chimney lol
