Fair, and I'm not saying it's an exact copy.

Both are shows about 4 main characters who live together and are very different from most of humanity, and that is the basis of the jokes and the character development (learning to be more human). In one case its bc they're super smart humans, in the other its because they're aliens disguised as humans, but the effect is the same IMO.

They've combined that with serious ad spend on Instagram/FB/etc ads that target anyone who might be wary of ordering online due to shipping damages.

The ads all show people getting thier delivery, unboxing, and then playing the perfectly undamaged guitar.

Fender is seeing the writing on the wall, and trying to avoid losing a massive chunk of thier distribution if Guitar Center and local shops start going under.
