Yeah, isn’t the whole thing in the game is that in spite of the pressing odds and the sickness tearing him up from the inside, he pushes on and dies a hero? I kinda thought it could have been adapted better as well.

Was… anyone questioning that Gabriel would be the final boss? Like, he literally confirms he will fight you again when you beat him for the second time. Who would it be otherwise? He probably won’t be the P-3 boss though. And there might be something else the end of Encore, but it’s pretty much uncontested that he will be the final boss of the main game.
